I've given up the bootsing until the sales now. Even with christmas I can't seem to get rid of the stash. I think I have been a bit too mad with the deals this past year...
but come the 75% sale I'll be stocking up on next years pressies for DS and all the other kiddies.

Anyway, I resisted the urge to purchase the OOTW and the numerous GWP I would've got with them. Stood with DH in front of the last 4 on display at Sunbury on Thames branch, talked about how good the offer was and better than it will be in the sale, but then couldn't work out who we would give them to apart from my dear mum.

So, anyone who is local to Sunbury, there were 4 OOTW left on the stand as you walk in, at 12:30ish today. I'm not sure if its open til late today as its one of those 24hour/late night pharmacy branches :T

Oh and also, my main reason for the Boots visit today was to buy mummy an electric toothbrush. The Braun Professional 8500 was priced the same as the 8000 (£24.99) but scanned at a higher price. SA spent ages trying to sort it out and eventually entered it at £24.99 (tsk didn't get my VAT back :mad: ) but as DS was being ratty I couldn't be R'sd with sorting it out.

If anyone in London is looking for the No7 OOTW I saw about 7 in a small boots on Tottenham Court road around 4:15pm today. It's the one next to Paperchase. Not sure when the offer finishes but if anyone still wants it then fingers crossed it will still scan at £25 tomorrow.

I spend my days in the carlisle boots, when i can get there.

I have found that paying upstairs is the best, as its quieter and the SA's are always more willing to try everything compared to the SA's downstairs. They have spare's of all the No7 GWP's up there too. The always scan all vouchers. I have taught the SA's in there a few things about htere tills, they are lovely though and are always willing to learn and are really greatful when you point out a new till trick or glitch to them.

Ask the No7 SA's for advice but dont pay for anything there as there a bit grumpy on the best of days. There favourite word is - NO!

The Boujois sharpeners / tweezers are on the very bottom of the boujois display, you wouldnt notice them unless you were looking for them. I have picked up a few but there were some left the other day.

They dont have any JK wipes / files, well they had 2 packs of wipes left and i almost bought them but there well out of date and look like they have been kicking around the warehouse floor for a good year or so.

Carlisle doesnt have a clearance section, which is a bit pants. They did have one then the xmas stuff came in and they got rid of it.

Have a good trip in carlisle, i'll keep my eyes peeled for you, im guessing you'll be the one on your hands and knees looking for the boujois tweezers, lol.

just wanted to check are the boujois sharpeners going through fine on the till?

has anyone had a SA refuse it?

i have not been bootsing for ages but got given vouchers. do you think if i just went to the till with the sharper it will fine and accepted?

I dont know if the SA's will let them go through on there own, i usually have a few ''cover'' items. Like wipes, tissues, botle of pop or shampoo. Something i need anyway just to hide it amongst all the other items.

YOu can try it and when the SA says - er NO! Just ask her to try it as you got one the other day and the voucher worked fine, if he/she still refuses go to another SA.

If I remember correctly from the sales last year the Boots website usually updates at 5am or thereabouts. Hopefully not for the first day of the online sales, but on the days after it starts because they unearth new stock from the warehouses. There was quite a merry (half-asleep) gang here most mornings, waiting for the updates.

Incidentally everyone, I was thinking that if by some miracle they reduce the FCUK men's washbag in the sale, the 1/2 price voucher might take off 1/2 the full price...wishful thinking but a girl can dream!

Lots of Boujois tweezers and eye pencil sharpeners in Chelmer Village retail park but none in Chelmsford Meadows or High Chelmer shopping centres today. Only had one bluey to use as have been paying with points recently so got the pink tweezers for mums Chrimbo hamper (which looks gorgeous by-the-way!). No probs using the bluey at all. A few No 7 OOTW left to be seen in High Chelmer but nowhere else local. :eek: Haven't bought it, even though it is gorgeous as have tons of skincare stuff for the hamper that I've acquired throughout 2008 through various vouchers and tips from the girls on here. :T Plenty of JK files, wipes and buffers left in High Chelmer only but no sign up to say there is extra points available. HTH? Go get em girls! x :beer:
