Took a trip in today really studied the JK stand as this was my first attemept (I'm sure if the staff were watching me they would have thought i was a shoplifter because I was there so long!)I found the wipes but no nail files I tried to rack my brains as to the deal!! ended up walking away as I didn't want to spend £7 on something I didn't really really need. DOH Didn't realise/ remember the points cancelled it out, try again tomorrow:rolleyes:

You will probably find the JK nail files with the general nailcare products in a different section of the store. But you may find a SEL on the JK stand for the files showing £2 as the price instead of £3 - probably won't be any files there but if you get the files off the other shelf and refer the SA to the SEL on the JK stand you should get them for the lower price!!!:T

now that the ootw is out of stock online do you think they'll make previous ootws available?
just thinking how annoying it must be for people clicking through from the home page to see that they can't buy it

Hello, I doubt it, they didn't do that when the FCUK ootw ran out early last week, you just have to be super quick with the ootw's now! As said before, anyone who didn't get on online they could call round their local shops and see if they have any in stock and collect. :beer:

Woooo I am so pleased with my shop today....it all started so badly but it was alright in the end!!

Went to Southampton High Street this afternoon to find OOTW sold out so traipsed down to West Quay/Town Quay store....they had ran out.

Thought I best get something whilst I was there so picked up 2 JK nail files, paid and got points and bluey. Picked up some Lee stafford poker straight (actually wanted/needed this) conditioner and 2 JK wipes for hampers next year (use by May 2010). Had a Lee Stafford Shampoo in my basket to get with the bluey I would get from this purchase. Went to till and paid and was told blueys were gone now! Anyway so I had a conditoner and no shampoo (didnt want to spend £4... for it). Was a bit gutted so left.

Got home and dropped my LS conditioner on driveway which cracked the bottle open so it was all over drive! Was in a right strop after this so thought I would pop onto store finder on .com to phone round local stores and see if they had OOTW.

I found out there is a little tiny secret boots a couple of miles down the road which closed at 5pm....this was at 4.35pm and not open Sundays so phoned and they had LOADS of OOTW in stock and NO7 gwps. I literally shoved OH in the car and told him to drive as fast (and as safely) as he could. I had to stay home as was expecting a visitor. Half hour later OH walks in with 3 OOTW and 3 GWP. Apparently their advantage kiosk wasnt working so didnt get any extra points and he was really sorry about it..........I didnt really care, I was just SO pleased to get them.

Hes a star now and in my good books!! Anyway that is my little story of the day! Could have done with some cheering up as my doggy was poorly all night so had to stay up with her and then had an hours kip and then had to get up with DS (4yrs) and get him ready for his Dads and then I fell and broke my lovely full sized mirror so a bad start to the day!! It all ended well so I am happy (and boosted my points to £40 and have £40 vouchers off my Bro and Mum so sale here I come)! xxxxx

unless of course you get the dragon SA I got, who swore blind they were a different product, then muttered that she was going to get the price changed to stop anyone else trying it on :eek:

oh and on the topic of bad customer service, I have to say I find it slightly worrying that people have to be "trained" to be polite and helpful in their jobs...surely this is something that should come naturally! I've worked in retail when i was a student and there's nothing better than the feeling of appreciation when you've helped someone and i totally agree that a smile goes an awfully long way to diffusing a possibly bad situation. Just a little story: I worked in one of the big supermarkets when i was younger. one day someone asked me where the flour was so i took them to it. when i returned to my department...all of 15 seconds later my manager asked where i had been and i explained that I had taken a customer to something they were looking for...I promptly got told off for wasting time! Lo and behold two weeks later it becomes company policy to escort the customer to the product they are looking for as part of good customer service and my manager then stands there and tells me that I have to follow this new rule!!! Why do people need to have it pointed out to them that this is good service..isn't it obvious. And just to finish my rant, my personal bugbear is SA's who continue to talk to their friend whilst serving and then just hold out their hand for the money. I always make a special point of killing with kindness with a "Thank you ever so much for your help and attention today" style comment. Never fails to confuse them! Well some of them, some just say you're welcome!!!!!

Oh and does anyone know how much the JK nail wipes are? Also I have nail files and face wipes and was planning on doing a few mini JK hampers for presents next year....is there anything else cheapy I should look out for? Our JK is spread out all over the sodding place so would be nice to have a few ideas to look for. Ta muchly oh wise ones! xx
