Shop assistant - to assist you with your shop. Nothing should be too much trouble. Its there job thats what they get paid for. If they dont like working there then they should quit and go and find another job, not take it out on the customers who are shopping in thier store, paying their wages. All SA's should know that the customer is always right. They are there to help them, if you ask them to do something they should do it - within reason of course. I think many of Mr B's staff seriuosly need re-training in customer relations. Its not that hard to smile. Its free, doesnt cost anything, even the worst customer in the world will calm down loads with a smile. All SA's should always speak to customers calmly and politely its the only way to keep conflict to a minimum. If an SA has an attitude, there gonna get attitude back. She should have been able to void the transaction even with using a voucher, more like she couldnt be bothered. Its amazing how many times i have been into boots and many other store's and told the SA's how to use their tills, the ones they have been paid to be trained on correctly.

I would definately complain, we dont do enough of it in this country, well we do. We stand there and say it but we rarely follow it up. If you keep complaining about her them maybe something will be done. Its a case of it will need pointing out several times so its plain to see. If a customer was that rude about an SA and another SA overheard it i bet someone would have had something to say and the customer hauled out of the shop and told never to come back again.

Personnaly if i came across an SA as bad as yours, if she came to serve me i would say, i would like to be served by someone else please, i find you rude and i dont want your bad vibes ruining my day. The initial shock will make her look at her actions Chances are the other staff in the store feel the same way as you do but unfortunately there isnt much they can do about it and they have to put up with it. I bet there are several SA's in that store who would like to tell her what they think of her but dont want to end up on a disciplinary, chances are if you told her, they would be your best buddies.
:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
:T fortune with those less fortunate :T

I just went to the large store in the next town to get some Mitchum as it is £1.00 off and I still have some £1.00 vouchers so a can would be .85p. I picked up 4 and asked the girl to put them through seperately and she put 4 through but only took 2 vouchers. I asked if she could void it and put them through seperately and she went off to find a supervisor. She came back with the one I have had a run in with before because she did not want to take my skin care voucher. She made a fuss and said they could not void it as I had used a voucher. I said well dont bother and the other little girl said she would go and get the manager. He simply gave me the extra £2.00 in cash and was really nice.
Then I left but my daughter was still in there and I called to ask where she was and she said the 2 sa's were slagging me off and saying they wished I would go away. So she turned to them and said they should not talk about customers and that I was her Mum. They denied it but she was correct.
So I went back in took the manager to one side and told him I would not come back in his store ( although I know it was not his fault!!) as his staff dont know how to treat customers!! He apologised profusely and I said I would be writing to head office. Shopping in Boots is one of my little pleasures and I dont see why some snotty SA has to ruin it for me. I also did not get a bluey. What is the spend limit for them now?
    Hi Rose,
Sorry you had such a bad experience, poooooo to horrid SA, go girl to your DD! Extra goodies in her stocking this year.:T

Also, was in Boots today up in Glasgow area and they are doing certain No7 moisturisers for half price. Essential moisturiser 150ml for £5.xx (usually £12.50)and also one in green container think for oily skin. Was told that they are redoing packaging. Rumour of pinkies to return next month!!!!!!
Hope this hasn't been written before and is of some help to someone.

    Hi everyone.

Firstly Thank you to you all for the bargains that you have posted over the last couple of months. I've posted a couple of times but never managed to find anything really good to share.

I've just been onto .Com to order the slimfast - ready for the January diet.

I found this & don't think it's ben posted already, sorry if it has but I'm a bi rushed at the mo

Addidas team force scarf set is on 3 for 2 and save a 1/3.

    I ordered 3 sets & was charged £11.75.

    They should be Was £11.75 minus 1/3 £7.83 x2 = £15.66 for the 3.

not a bad find i thought.

    Merry Christmas

Got the £25 No7 OOTW today but my store are no longer doing the GWP. It's 3 for 2 on all No7 stuff instead! Shame as I really wanted a GWP - never mind. You win some and you loose some.

  • Honestly, I must be a boots addict lol....I went in today, just to buy some throat sweets cause I have a cold and on my way I wander past the Lancome counter....after speaking to the SA for a bit (she knows me as a regular now :o even asked how work was as she knows I'm a student nurse on my placement :o) she mentions there's a 1000pts offer on, well not one to let an opportunity pass, 10 mins later I had bought some lancome stuff, JK stuff.....spent 50ish got 3350 in points along with a BAG FULL of lancome mini samples (not sachets, proper lil tubes...tons of em..) and all my lancome stuff gift wrapped........I never did make it to the pharmacy :o lol

  • I will be buying these in BOOTS!

I have recently got spots/zits :( (as a result of trialling Boots facecream!)Want to disguise these as best I can.
    Can anyone recommend a zit-zapper :(
A concealer that works (I can't take my makeup to the loos at work)
Daughter wants to have a manicure with a fine silver line across the white tip - does any one do a nail polish in a pen? The only way I can think of of doing a fine line...

Plus a lip cream/salve that works as daughter has urggh! lips and needs a solution...

    Any advice appreciated :)
  • Hi Rose,

I had a similar, although not as severe experience last night. I told myself I wouldn't be going back into that store..even though it is really the most convenient. I actually was a bit upset so can totally imagine how you must feel. Good on you for complaining and your daughter for standing up to them! I don't understand why people need to be like that, all we were doing is trying to get the best deal. Wish I had made a complaint or at least made my point like you did.

I received my .com order this morning and booooo they sent me the wrong No.7 offer..they sent me 3 x No.7 skin and body set in the black bag rather than 3x No.7 Ultimate Skin Care Collection OOTW! Unfortunately the reason I had been ordering online was because I had my appendix out a few days ago so venturing outside wasn't really an option BUT obviously by the time they were collected and re-delivered Christmas would be over so I went to the big Boots in town to return and collect the OOTW and I had the NICEST SA in the world, she swapped over my items not a problem and after telling her about my recent surgery she apologised for the wrong delivery, gave me 4 No.7 GWPs (without me asking) and told me I shouldn't be carrying these heavy bags (they are super super heavy..or I m weak!) so she got the manager to call me a taxi and help me down the lift and outside to the street to wait for it, carrying my bags all the way!

Such a fantastic girl, really made my day how nice she was!

I've now wrapped out the OOTW pressies, they are GORGEOUS!!! Very happy Bootser!
