I had this as well, except with boots courier pick up, not the post! I didn't return it to store as I did want what I ordered but they kept sending me the wrong colour - three times!! It was a baby item for a girl and they kept sending it in blue  I refused as a point of principle to drag it in to boots and insisted they pick it up from me at work. Then I got charged for all 3 incorrect items and still didn't have what I originally ordered!! It got sorted in the end but the moral of the story is - it's much better to return in store. If they pick your item up from you - make sure you get something signed by the courier.

I'd bet that it's not the post or couriers that are actually losing all these packages -- Boots probably handles returns in as disorganized a manner as it seems to do everything else, and is probably getting the packages just fine, but not properly handling the part where the sender is credited with having returned it! I seriously wouldn't return anything to boots other than taking it in to a store. I know some people probably don't have an alternative, though. I'd also think carefully before doing an online order if the items could be easily gotten at your local store, as they seem to mess up orders and packing so often. Boots should really be ashamed of its service.

Does anyone know if prices now show on .com delivery notes? I was made to feel like a criminal a few weeks back when I returned an item in store - complete with the delivery note!! I explained I had ordered the wrong model of an electrical item by mistake, SA said "you ordered the wrong one??" in very accusative tone then said "well don't you have the receipt or something?" Er, hello, the delivery note I handed over? SA then says "But it hasn't got the price on. I can't give you a refund without the price"....... But that's what Boots sent me, I protest. "Well, you can have an exchange I suppose". No! You don't have the one I thought I was ordering, so just a refund will be fine........... took half an hour!! She wasn't an Xmas temp, so no excuse there. Improved staff training needed Mr B!

no, (as of this morning) they still don't. Mine took half hour convo between SA and cs to find the price because it was a .com item and not instore. Some one on here
(:T) said print out your confirmation email and take that as well because that has the prices on, very good advice, sometimes it seems like you have to do the job for them!

    Hi everyone,

Just a quick one, maybe AK can help?

I returned nearly £300 worth of goods back to Boots and guess what..............

All lost in the post!!!!

I have my proof of returns but has anyone experienced this? I wouldn't mind but it was 4 huugggggggeeeeee boxes worth!!!
The only thing I can suggest is that you call cs and ask their advice. This sort of problem is not delt with on a store level.

sorry i can't be of use on this one

No they don't and it's something we're constantly feeding back to HO about. There is now a column for unit price on the delivery note but it is left blank, so they may do it in future, but as of now, nothing.

If they we're to input the code on the instore ordering system (used on the till to make .com orders), so long as the item is not out of stock it should give the price. If they item is out of stock, then i'm afraid it's a call to customer care to get a price, or, as minimoneyme said, take a copy of your email with prices on.
