Hi Passion, I ordered these the other day after seeing your link. If you want me to post a piccy let me know. Some of them are very 'bright' while others are very nice.
    Thanks Polly :) I'll have another look because they're a bit 'gothy' aren't they? :o  I might be too middle-aged ;)

Thanks too crazyposhgal and all :D Your uncertainty about the OOTW made me wonder why I wanted anything, from any of the sales lol. So I've emptied the John Lewis basket, M&S (after the throws, if they ever arrive ;)) and cancelled a trip to Boots :rotfl: I'll be in MSE Old Stylers soon ;)

  • Hi all, help please, on the 1st point event I bought some babyliss 230 pro straightners reduced from £74 to £49 but would rather have the ones that are on offer now, £100 reduced to £50 would I still be able to swap em? thanks

i will not be getting this OOTW for the same reason as you CPG. I also have 2 large virgin vie eyeshadow pallates that were £22.50 each and have ~ 20 colours in each. I will be 50 before I get through them. My brown bourjois eyeshadow has been in my drawer being slowly used since 1994 and I don't like lip stick from pallates. It is a lovely gift however and not bad value at OOTW price.

FCUK bags will be my last Boots buy before the salessssssssssss :D

:ABeing Thrifty Gifty again this year:A

Im looking forward to the no7 skincare collection thingy :D (£60? i think :))
I have heard no mention of it on here for ages... so i hope it will still be a OOTW.

I'm not too keen on the no7 pallet OOTW, but at that price.... it's very tempting... ;)

I had this as well, except with boots courier pick up, not the post! I didn't return it to store as I did want what I ordered but they kept sending me the wrong colour - three times!! It was a baby item for a girl and they kept sending it in blue  I refused as a point of principle to drag it in to boots and insisted they pick it up from me at work. Then I got charged for all 3 incorrect items and still didn't have what I originally ordered!! It got sorted in the end but the moral of the story is - it's much better to return in store. If they pick your item up from you - make sure you get something signed by the courier.

can anyone kindly recomend any good hair products for dry blonde hair please? had foils put in yesterday and it feels a bit dry, also any moisturising straighting spray/balm?
    Thanksyou

Trevor Sorbie blonde s & c is good, as is the pink moisturising s & c. Mind you, I did get them when the 1p glitch was on a few months back (2 for £7 minus £6.99 with the magazine voucher.. those were the days!).

I don't think you can beat john frieda frizz ease as far as serum / balm etc goes. My hair always feels dry without it!

If you feel like splashing out more the l'oreal kerastase chroma reflect (or something like that) intensive conditioner is very good and smells fab. It's not in boots, sadly, but is much cheaper on ebay than in salons!

Went to boots at lunch today and picked up the meal deal deal (sandwich, drink and snack) for £3.49 and you get the 6th one free. Sorry i know everyone has probably been doing this for years, but i've only just found out!!

£3.49?? I though meal deals were £2.99. I hope this isn't Mr B's way of recovering glitch losses
