Just a thought, from when doing my list for week, may come in useful for someone else. I know its a few days for xmas and New Yr, but ....

Check smoke alarms and replace battery if necessary (our smoke detector battery ran, recommends changing battery every 2 yrs, we leave little sticky note next change date).

Sounds daft, but have you checked ur prescription medication, have you got enough to see you through - if not order this week, (incase u need to c gp b4 medication issued).

Stock up basic supplies - mini first aid kit
    Plasters
    Diarohea Tablets
    Headache Pills
Calpol / Nurofen (own brand) for children

Extra toilet roll (incase u have extra visitors)

Batteries - xmas prezzies, cameras, camcorders, remote control

Keep a couple of candles and box matches - incase of emergency

Have some colouring books / crayons incase visitors have children with them,

Keep a spare present wrapped for a female and male incase of that extra prezzie,

Put petrol in car before xmas eve - pumps heaving as everyone leaves it to last minute.

Again if you need to draw any money out of cash machine, aim again b4 xmas eve, get busy may run out.

Overall have a big smile and be pround of yourself, whether you saved a penny, pound, or more through money saving, u have done brilliantly.

Lastly a big thank to Jamtart6 for starting the money neutral thread, and PinkLady Mel for organised xmas, and the latter merger of the two. xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

It was a farce, how stupid, I just wrote a letter to the local Rhyl paper, saying this is how tourists treated, they rang on the wed, to say it would be in the next days paper, and by the way they had got some \MP involved, on the thurs out local evening paper picked up on it, then the local radio station, then BBC Wales, on the Fri from 9am to 9pm the phone was none stop.

I did radio interviews, BBC Wales, Radio Shropshire, and BBC Radio 5
    Video interview for Shropshire Star,
then it got picked up by the nationals, she was in every daily paper, even in Ireland, our local news, all BBC news, News at Ten. Apparently the Daily Mail (posh paper), she made pg 3 with a photo.

Everyone was coming up going, bet ur in the money........I wish, although it was my photo that was used, as Id sent it to the newspaper, they got paid for it!"!

I shouldnt laugh, but its so funny now! x

I know how it goes and how things all of a sudden explode.10 years ago i had a death threat over a pokemon card :rotfl: I was everywhere as the pokemum who had a death thread for outbidding someone over a charizard card :o .. Got to go on Big Breakfast tho and met Jonny Vaughn ( sp?) Donna Aire. Travis It was quite exciting when i realised they were in USA. So i didnt have to sleep with one eye open :rotfl: . Actually we were only on about it yesterday. So expect it to be a talking point for a few years yet :rotfl:
