alternative christmas songs :D

Me and Dh have our christmas songs and one of them is 'santa claus is coming to town' by Weezer. The only thing is.. at the end someone shouts 'F@@k you santa'. I totally forgot about this until my little boy shouted it the other day :o

Sarahf, how did the pinata go? you are so clever making them your kids must think you are just awesome. I have got my sons birthday in a week and im stressing out LOL. One more coffee.. I don't even LIKE coffee!!

Hello everyone!
Had a great day yesterday although my stupid wrist was playing up. Wizard of Oz is fab, so I've finished my pledge from yesterday.

Today my pledge is to get at least 5 cards made and sent.

Argh I need to get the coffee machine on... craving it today!

Lol at PLM's son thats so funny I hope it wasnt at a Xmas song performance although that would be funny.
Hope your little girl gets better soon :)
Today i'll mostly be lounging around wrapped in a duvet as my cold has reappeared with a vengence and seems to have settled on my chest waa (I cant remember not having a cold or a cough since mid October now :( starting to feel totally wiped out by it all)
BUT on the plus side - My cash from babysitting (lame I know but been doing it for years and years and I love the kid lol) has now reached £100 so I can spend that on myself on Weds :D
argh just realised I picked up the wrong shampoo in the body shop on Fri so will be exchanging that next week :)

Hope everyones alright :)
Love is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,
I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together

Thanks Mel, all the kids loved bashing the Pinata (Homer Simpsons Head:rotfl: ), only took them 5 mins this time, but they had knocked it off the string and were kicking it around LOL

They are Dead easy to make, and I let my boys help me with the paper mache side of it, just sneak the treats in when they are not looking so it's a suprise.
:D:D:D:D:D

• Sorry PLM forget to add, hope your little one is feeling better and that your afternoon has been better.

Xmas Saver!
Good morning everyone.. I haven't dropped off the face of the earth. Had a NIGHTMARE of a weekend. Allow me to elaborate:

+ Daughter has now got the 'bad' flu temp of 40 and was like having a new born. Woke up all night screaming muttering something about seatbelts. She is clingy at the best of times

+ Toilet is blocked (bloody Andrex) Unblocked it and it splashed on my face (GROSS) used it this morning.. BLOCKED!!

+ My parents picked up my order from Tescos. Two boxes.. Both completely smashed to pieces. The kids toys are in there and they are now out of stock. Called customer care and she said the two things that ARE in stock can be resent but I need to take them back to store for a refund and then she will charge my card again. Not really doing me a favour then are you? Oh and I would take them back to store except you need my card.. But I had the things delivered to my parents store.. 30 miles away.

+ I had two secret santa parcels. In my ill rush It now appears I labelled and sent the wrong parcel to the wrong person. So now I got to sort all that out and it is more expense.

Ever feel like you just want to start again???

Ah bless her. hope dd goes on ok, there must be something bout seatbelts that take her fancy.........thou whens shes older its on for the list to bring out to boyfriends.

Apparently when I was about 7. (bear in mind Im now 37, in my sleep apparently I was shouting out about my dads underpants doing 70 miles an hour along the Cressage straight (road between Shrewsbury + Cressage, last part straight + get a gd speed up).......my mother brings out the story every now and again).

Very brave with the loo.

Hope the restof today goes better xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

Thanks mum2one I attempted the toilet unblocking technique that every single person on the internet claims worked for them.. and guess what.. it didn't work for me!! lol You are crazy dreaming about your fathers underpants. Are you scarred for life??

Sarahf I love the idea of a homer simpson head. That is so lovely getting them to help and then sneaking in treats. I am going to keep this idea definitely. Remind me next year!!! Have you got any other things planned?

phunkles You are lovely for babysitting. I don't see many people doing it anymore but I guess that is todays PC society. Everyones a !!!!!! apparentely!! It wasn't a school rehearsal but he does have one on thursday so now I am freaked out. What has happened with your cold is exactly the same as mine. It keeps making me cough and it just came right back.. it's such a pain.

Natzini If you get the coffee machine on you will have Sarah on your doorstep lol. I love wizard of Oz. Have you done your cards yet?

Big christmassy hugs to everyone who needs them.

Well done chocolateorange for surviving relatives. What is it about this time of year - I love my in laws but they're always seems to be bickering and stupid digs flying around at this time of year on that side of the family!

Ah, Pinkladymel, sounds like you've had a right time of it, my little one and I were poorly for about a month before we were able to shake it off.

Went to see Santa at a farm in Peterlee(North East) - called tweddle childrens animal farm today. We went last year and it was really nice cos it's just a small set up but we were blown away at how lovely the grotto was this year and santa was really lovely. It really must have took them months to do as it was a whole walk in set up with an elf wrapping presents and reindeer and a villagey scene. Cold but lovely. Followed by a festive pizza and kebab with friends. I know I keep saying this but I'm just glad I can do this kind of thing without worrying about shopping for presents and other christmas rush goings on.

I pledged yesterday to show home the house which I did - I quite surprised myself at how much I had done so today has been a day off. Tomorrow I have to make the reindeer flannels for daughters teachers, I have Lush shop bath bombs to put inside and they smell like candy canes.

OK tomorrow I also pledge to do this - make a christmas morning basket:

Holiday Tip of the Day: Make A Christmas Morning Basket!

[*]Holiday Tip of the Day

homemade_gifts.jpgGifts are piling up beneath the tree, and Santa's ready to roll: time to prepare a Christmas morning basket!
The concept is simple: gather the tools and supplies you'll need to open Christmas gifts and put them in a basket, gift bag or gift box beneath the tree.
Include items like scissors, box cutter, notepad and pen (for recording "gifts received"), camera or videocam, trash bags, zipper food storage bags (for bundling small pieces so they're not lost) and extra batteries.
Add a Santa hat for a fun touch: she who wears the hat, passes out the presents!
