just thought id join in ! ive done all my xmas shopping for prezzies, Feeling very festive at the moment :@)
just made some chilli jam for christmas prezzies for friends going to do my food shopping on tuesday at morrisons with my vouchers
so all in all im very excited

Congrats to Jammy (you missed me off the nice girls list, but I'll forgive you, under the circumstances). Get better soon to all germies. Where's PLM? She hasn't posted for ages...

Love coming on here - everyone so chirpy and full of the festive spirit - aaah, I love it!

On the good girls list again (Jammy!), more kitchen activity today - iced the Cake, blanched and froze cauli/brocolli for Xmas Eve, made and froze mashed swede & carrot (also Xmas Eve) - well on the way. Even DH has noticed how prepared I am, and how much more I've achieved this year (and believe me, that's saying a helluva lot - a bomb could go off and he wouldn't notice!).

So all that's left between now and Xmas Eve :-

Make Cheese Scones
Make Brie & Cranberry Tarts
One last Supermarket shop
Buy fresh veggies etc
Collect Cheeses
Pick up meat
last bits of housework
change beds
List of stuff to take away for New Year
Pack for going away
Seating Plan Xmas Eve (16) and Xmas Day (27)
and enjoy!!!
That, my dear ladies, is absolutely it - can't quite believe it!:T

So, full steam ahead!

Can i be on the nice list pretty please with a cherry on top????:rotfl: I did nearly all of my Christmas Shopping today (only 5 more things to get) , and i wrapped them all!!!:j And i took photos and uploaded them to photobucket, none of Lily on there yet still trying to catch her with her hair clip in LOL.
I didn't make a pledge though so i guess that was kind of naughty:eek: But i have done things that i've been meaning to do for a long time :rotfl:

5 days left - I'm so excited.

Me thinks everyone is very busy right now or ill. My house seems to be at the start of another cough cold nightmare - I'm sleeping in the spare room tonight as I refuse to be rubbing my nose off all christmas day. These bouts of colds and headache I keep getting make me feel like I have a hangover which reminds me I haven't got any snowballs yet.

Right I'm going - cos I feel like I'm talking to myself, which I am...but first - I am going to lose 5-7 pounds before christmas day - it is so doable because I have a lot to lose if I am really good and get started sat through to wed. Then I will have c.day and box.day off and then back on my diet again with a vengeance. I'm going to make sure I walk the dog every day from today onwards (my husband will not mind this at all) cos I need the exercise - aiming for baby number two!. There feels better when you post all the stuff that's in your head.

I'm so excited, only got a few jobs left to do:

Shopping for fresh stuff (Will do on mon or Tues)
Clear Mum's Car for her
General cleaning
Washing and drying

Thats it for now, got my Xmas eve list but can't do any of that yet.

I'm feeling a bit better today, It's been awful this flu, I can sympathise with everyone who has got it I'm touching wood today that mine on its way out, as I've been up and down all week, one day ok, one day BAD:mad: . So anyone suffering GET WELL SOON and (((((((((((Big Virtual HUGGIES))))))))))))

I was wondering were PLM was too JULU, Hope she's ok, and anyone else who is missing. We Miss you all!!!!

Right well I'm off to find something Chrismassy to do with my kiddies today, not going out anywhere (Unless my Mum drags me out later - She will have to drag me kicking and screaming LOL :rotfl: )

hello! *yawn* I am up early, got in from my works xmas do at 2am. Got to "sleep" at 3.30am and woke up about 6 times by 5.30 so decided to get up. I'm tired but can't sleep - how annoying!! had a good night thanks for all the kind words regarding the house! can't wait to get the keys!!! have a nice day everyone

Good morning all!!

Not posted for a bit but not been v organised with all the illness etc etc in the housed it's been tricky! I'm still sneezing,coughing and blowing my nose and that's over weeks now!!

Anyway I will
1. make some sort of Christmas cake this weekend as i have all the ingredients
2. finish my final shopping list for early next week
3. wrap some more pressies each day
4. check the childrens stockings/pressie if I can get hubby to distract them for long eough
5. clean the bath, loo etc etc
6. change beds early next week ready for Christmas!
7. make snowman soups for kids coming on Christmas Eve
8. tidy tidy tidy (I'm a messy worker!)

Ooooohhh, I bet your so excited (Even though your tired hun!!) I bet you feel so relieved too...all that stress of will we won't we just before Christmas. Will you get the keys before or after Christmas??

I briefly read the first couple of pages last night after Mum2one recommended this thread. I am fed up of running around like a headless chicken and then overspending for ease. I promise to try and go through the full thread this weekend inbetween.

[STRIKE]Thoughly tiding and sorting kids room including a massive throughout and looking for ebayable/carboot stuff.[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Wrapping more xmas pressies[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Looking at turkey crown instructions so I know how long to defrost/cook.[/STRIKE]
