I and my wife got Pockit cards to put our kids' pocket money onto. We loaded each with a very small amount initially which registered within a couple of days and we used one of the cards to make an online purchase. On 30 July we loaded both with another fairly small amount but neither shows on the accounts. We've raised the issue and provided the full details of the transactions. A response has been received re my wife's account saying they can see the payment was credited on 1 August and is available. The trouble is that when she logs in there is no sign of it. Pockit have said some web browsers show the balance incorrectly but she has tried 2 different ones as well as the mobile app. This space has been intentionally left blank0

Customer Service has gone right downhill on Pockit recently. I have loaded money on my card, but despite receiving an email confirming the load it is not showing on my account, so far no reply to email and if I try to ring I get message that they are "very busy" and that the call will be disconnected after 20 mins if they have not answered it by that time.
I have tried different aps on different operating systems.
1) Why is their technology not working properly in the first place?
2) Why should I pay £1.80 to query their faulty technology only to get cut off without speaking to anyone?
Until Pockit can get themselves sorted out I suggest that anyone using or thinking of getting one of their cards treats this organisation with extreme caution0 -
Few days ago I started to make an online application for Cashplus Business card.
I did not proceed with the application when I was told about the charges.
I did not give them my bank details either.
I then got an email saying that my application was successful.
Few days later, I received a Cashplus Business Card, along with a letter asking to pay into this account, activate the card, get your PIN, Register for members area and so on.
I did nothing.
I am liable for their fees?
Do I have a legally binding contact with them?
Thanks!0 -

You need to have a look at their T & Cs. In my own experience of Cashplus there are fees especially a dormancy fee but only charged if there is a balance. However I have no experience of their business card.
You should have 14 days to change your mind and withdraw from the contract.0 -
So, I'm considering a prepay credit card but I wanted to ask if PP CCs all use verified by visa or SecureCode by MasterCard? Currently with Santander and verified by visa does my head in. Number of times I've forgotten my password is silly.
Has anyone used these ans can you confirm if they do/don't!!?? Would be a great help and please list the cards that don't.

I opened a Pockit Card account 9 days ago, topped up £10 by bank transfer and submitted ID docs on the same day. My top up has not been applied to my account, the ID docs haven't been processed and they have not replied to my email. This rings very loud alarm bells for me. I have missed out on the free £5 for topping up within 7 days and probably lost my £10 as well. AVOID POCKIT!!0

Soldo Debit Mastercard from Paysafe famous for Skrill and Neteller looks good. More expensive than Pockit at £2.00 per month with a promotional £1.00 per month paid 6 months in advance and £1.00 fee for debit card top-ups up to £100 and £2.00 for Debit card top-ups up to £200. But ATM withdrawals are 50p, POS free and bank transfer top-ups free.
Looks like it's an alternative to most pre-paid cards including familiy cards such as GoHenry and travel cards such as Revolut. Zero commission for foreign currency transactions, no-fee Mastercard rates and £1.00 per foreign ATM withdrawals.
Needs access to a smart phone because it's operated through the mobile app with no other online service.
There is also the ability to turn off the card and back on through the mobile app and budgeting functions.
I signed up just yesterday so not a lot to report yet. No problems at all with the app.

My experience with Pockit has been nothing short of a disaster since acquiring the card a couple of weeks ago. I have encountered many problems with logging in via the App, activating the card, loading the card and even trying to change my PIN via ATM's. To top it off I can't even close my account via their preferred method of calling because I have tried on 4 different days now to speak to somebody at Customer Services and my call has always gone unanswered and eventually cut off so have sent an email in an attempt to close the account that way instead (currently awaiting a response). Based on my experience I would strongly advise avoiding Pockit at this moment in time folks.0

they want this from me even tho I load by way of paypoint ? even tho its taken me making negative comments on there face book page to get a response from them due to 3 days of trying to get email and phone contact with them, once they did respond they didnt have any way of sorting the issue out , one operator told me I need to press the activation button on there site even tho it dosnt exist , then I got email saying they need more details ie photo id and proof of address before my app can be processed, its all very and purposely misleading . my card was even issued to me without the website charging me 99p for the card , I payed for it after it arrived by txt also there is a gap of days between email responses , the staff just don't care and don't really know what they are doing even if you do manage to get hold of them .... funny tho if u go on there facebook page and post anything negative there is allways someone ready in real time to take it down0
