  • message from delivery people...will be delivered tomorrow so will let u know what its like.....if no good itll be on ebay!!!!
  • Loooks like a great price to me. I wouldn't worry too much about the brand, I think you'll find that most low end TV's use the same OEM.

Also... the only reasons to buy an LCD at the moment are: Space saving, Looking cool, and not caring about shoddy image quality. You'll be waiting a long time for HD tv content worth watching. Don't forget that the picture quality is only as good as the weakest part. In this case original HD recorded media is in very limited supply.
  • TV came at 7am !!!! Must be bargain ....picture quality is spot on...true flatscreen...very stylish....easy to set up...needless to say it wont be going on ebay!!!!! Well impressed.

If you want quality for a reasonable price you cannot beat CRT. I have worked in the vision side of broadcasting for over 15 years. I can guarantee that myself and no engineer I know has EVER assesed the quality of a picture for broadcasting on ANYTHING other than a CRT monitor. I personally own two CRT tv's and for big screen entertainment, an LCD projector. A perfect set up in my view and one that I have no intention of changing for at least the forseeable future. (Or when the prices for the HD displays drop hugely!)

  • gbennet: Could you post the specs please from the manual? Specifically interested in whether the scart sockets are RGB and if the TV is NTSC compatible. THanks
