Does anybody know how good or bad these are? I'm posting it on grabbit while you can but dont know anything about it really. It seems a great price, I'm gonna be tempted if anybody has any knowledge! :j

Remember that it's a CRT not an LCD0

Seems like no one has bought it on Amazon, as usually you would have a few reviews at least. Maybe no one wants to take the plunge!0

Well Ive just taken the plunge and bought one for the spare room...note it doesnt include a stand but can get these quite cheaply...seems a good deal for a flatscreen even though it is crt...well let u know what its like!!0

Can I join in?!. This is a bad deal not even has HD no wonder its cheap never herd of the make. :eek:0

sorry but whats the difference between CRT and LCD and what is HD?i'm living in a parallel universe0

LCD Liquid crystal display
CRT Cathode Ray Tube
HD High Definition
LCD Very thin (around 20cm) new style TV
CRT Has the big box on the Back
HD Will eventually equate to a better tv picture once tv companies start to broadcast the signal, Sky start this spring but only on certain channels
Hopes this helps and isn't to patronising

How can this be a bad deal when it hasnt got hd...who needs hd...just because it is a not yet known make it is easy to make assumptions...as I said earlier when it arrives ill comment on the quality etc. Look at some of the well known makes who are charging double and they dont have hd...some arent even true flat screen!!0

It's simple. If you want a superb picture no matter what the signal source (dvd, freeview, sky, consoles etc), buy a £200 28" CRT (possibly £155!!!). If you want to sit at home for the next 2/3 years, watching High Definition demos downloaded off the internet, buy a £700 LCD TV.
If you want to watch High Definition TV when it is the norm in 4 years time, buy an LCD TV in 4 years time.
You don't buy a mountain bike incase you decide to take up mountain biking in 4 years time. You buy a mountain bike when you decide to go mountain biking. The time to buy an LCD is 2/3 years away. Stick with the best for now - CRT. I did, and it was the right choice. My Toshiba CRT cost £199, amazing value, there has never been a better time to buy CRT. I also got a superb 19" tft widescreen monitor (a proper monitor) for my PC for £175. Best of both worlds for £375 in total. A proper TV and a proper monitor, you can't beat it.Titch
