Claimed the money which has arrived as a cheque. Just cancelled the contract. What a result!

PS CS say you can cancel on-line by going to "contact us", "email" on the vodafone home page then in the body of the message saying you want to cancel. Otherwise you can write or maybe do both.

If anyone has still got this Topcashback offer.(Vodafone Sim only 1 month contract,250 mins,100 texts and £120 cashback)and are thinking of cancelling,it's worth checking the upgrade deal on the web,if you registered your account online.
I cancelled giving the 1 months notice and have had a few calls from Vodafone offering me deals,but nothing of interest as I wanted to go payg.However on the last day of notice I decided to check for upgrades online and they had some fantastic deals available. I signed up for a free Sony Xperia X1 on the original sim only deal but now 12 months.
In effect got £120 cashback,a £500+ phone for 16 months @ £14.67 pm = £235.
Don't bother ringing Vodafone about the deal,as they don't seem to know anything about it ( I tried to get free unlimited web included).
Anyone else took up one of the upgrades?
