Ooh an eternity ring - I would of loved that. Oh word of warning though. I haven't managed to wear my wedding ring and engagement ring since I was 16 weeks pregnant - they still don't fit due to my new FULLER figure. :-(:heart2:Mum to my little Daisy 3 and Archie 1.:heart2:0

Rikki,
Presents should be the treats in life that we never buy ourselves because we always put others needs above our own, they should never be practical boring necessities!
Only for some - I love practical presents. I've been told its because I'm a virgo
When my our son was 2 weeks old dh gave me a voucher for the local beauty salon for my birthday, but I didn't want to leave the baby for an hour so it wasn't used for months and months.
If your wife's into practical presents getting her something practical will show you've really put some thought into her needs.
If your wife isn't into practical presents, jewellery gets my vote.
Oh and if I was her I'd love to go out for dinner (where dessert is compulsory)
What a lovely, considerate hubby!0 -

What about a doppler so you can listen to the baby's heartbeat together? Along with a little bag/box of luxuries - a perfume/face masks/body cream/ lush bubble bar etc.0

Wife is 6/7 months Pregnant - any ideas what to buy?
I've searched and searched and searched - most suggestions are pamerping days and pregnant masages but my wifes never really been one for that and I know the voucher will still be in her possesion when the child is 5 years old so waste of money
Ideas don't necesarily have to be cheap - im just really stuck for ideas and would appreciate any suggestions
get her a live in nanny to look after the baby so she can go back to work get a nice looking one so you both enjoy it .......lol:rotfl:
no seriously how bout some nice clothes vouchers cause i bet shes fed up of tracky bottoms and looking kinda ugly with the baby bump she can get her self something nice to cheer her upReplies to posts are always welcome, If I have made a mistake in the post, I am human, tell me nicely and it will be corrected. If your reply cannot be nice, has an underlying issue, or you believe that you are God, please post in another forum. Thank you0 -

There are some great ideas on this thread but I just thought I would mention a slightly different angle to things. When I was pregnant I did find myself sometimes feeling a bit sick of everything being about the baby. Sometimes I just needed a 'break' from the focus always being about me being pregnant. I suppose what I am trying to say is that your wife might appreciate a present that is nothing in any way shape or form to do with babies. Now your wife might love baby related pressies - you will know her best, but I would have loved something like a necklace, make up, perfume, a nice meal out, books, music, a large bunch of flowers... you get the idea!
I hope you find the perfect present and well done for being so thoughtful - I love mt OH dearly but he is not a very romantic soul and never did anything like what you are planning!

I'm pregnant too and my prefect christmas pressie would be a cleaner! Or if you can't search to that what about an IOU promising to do all the housework forever! Ok, ok, what about promising to do the housework for a week or so??
And making dinner too (something non microwaved), and maybe a foot massage...
And a couple of slushy dvds (to watch while you tidy up) and some chocolates, oh and kettle chips...0 -
An eternity ring.
Santuary mum to be is great.
The pillow is very good- but i would buy something else on top of it (remember to buy the pillow cover aswell).
I know they've already been said, but i generally thought of these things as being the best.:money: Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou to everyone who has helped.0 -

Is that an earth sign thing then cos I'm capricorn and my OH despairs of my boring, practical xmas list each year :rotfl:
Could also explain my no 1 gift for mum to be which is a handbag liner

Basically you can keep all your essential bits, keys, purse, lip balm, tissues etc in and then can move it from nappy bag to handbag to ensure you always have what you need whenever you leave the house. Has transformed my life - or maybe I need to get one!!0
