Wow, ignore me then lol... its not a mistake, its a subsititute item, just a silly one! I checked with my manager today about it
Makes no sense to sub the more expensive item though doh0 -
Didn't work for me.
Did customer view but it was A6.
Spoke to manager - he was not aware. He did say the new catalogue out soon - but price sensitive.

Just reserved and bought an A6, then checked the stock in store and found out that there were no more A6s in stock, but there were 8 A7s. So I went home and tried to reserve an A6 but I just got an out of stock message.... Does the A7 replacement only happen if they mess up your reservation and sell it to someone else by mistake?Tesco Deals Vouchers : £1500 in deals used towards Florida 2010 honeymoon and £318 towards Wedding rings in Goldsmiths - Thanks to all Tesco points savers who helped me along the way! :beer:0

I looked at a couple of digital camera review sites and the A6 came out better than the A7..... I have no idea why.... I was just pleased as I got the A6

Just run, run and keep on running!0 -

Sorry, you have misunderstood what is happening. Many of the items in the catalogue often state 'you may recieve a subsistute item of similar spec' or something along those lines
For example, the acoustic solutions region free dvd player has a subsistute alba version - so when the suppliers cannot send anymore of the correct model, they/other supplier send in the subs, which count as the correct item stock and is given to the customer. You should be told at the tills too, if there is a chance of a sub item being given to you
But in this case its slightly different, as it does not state in the cat nor at the tills that you might get a sub item (in this case an a7 camera) and so it is luck of the draw
It does not matter that the a7 is sold under another cat number, you are buying the a6 cat number and so should expect an a6, but depends how the stock arrives, so say 90% a6, 10% a7 if the store has been sent them under same cat number
Seems very silly I know, such an expensive item as a sub item, so still looks like it could be a mistake - perhaps the boxes came in with the wrong cat number on them. All I know is, there were five a7's at the store I work at with the A6 cat number and my manager said it was not a mistake, hmm
Ahh well, go try grab a bargain

I reserved a Samsung A6 at the Blackpool Store, but didn't have the reservation number when i got there. The woman said no bother we have loads in stock - great i thought. Went to collect it and low and behold an A7 came out!
Stock code 560/3251 which is the A6 code and was on the receipt, however that same code was stuck onto the A7 box.
hehehe.
Get in there quick it has a retail price of £329.99 not bad for £99.990 -
