Not posted for a little while - I'm doing payment a day and don't want to come here every day and reduce the overall total by a little bit at a time.
Anyway... since last time I posted (28th?) I have paid off £64. It would have been more, but I'm also paying into savings (tut tut) so I can buy myself a nice little house and put a second ring on my left hand.Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0 -

No problems with that COMP - debt is going down, savings going up and a treat at the end - who could ask for more :rotfl:Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

My logic (maybe flawed, who knows) is that I get 2.8% interest on my savings and I pay nothing on my credit card. So in the long run it would cost me more to pay it with savings!
Anyway, I am also putting money to one side to pay for this year's holiday (nothing fancy, just me, OH and the good ol' Isle of Wight).Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0 -
Haven't paid anything off my debt yet apart from the usual monthly payments, but am still saving to make a large overpayment in April. Have worked out that I will be DF 18 months before my DFD if I carry on saving like this
