Thanks The Dragon! Cor, I'll be soo rich when I start saving! (I hope!)
Is there any such thing as a Coin-Star machine that DOESN'T take a cut of your coins? I have quite a bit hanging around that I want to convert, but not enough to make up bags of each coin to pay in at the bank.0 -
Thanks for the welcome Dragon
Ok I have added up properly now and made a payment on my card so total is £2761.32 a whole £238.68 less than I originally thought :j
Just goes to show that doing your sums properly can make a big difference!!!0 -

The one they have in Tesco doesn't charge if you use the money in store, so could be ok if you were planning to do your shop there.0 -
Pid off £21 to barclays and got loan payment on 29th as they shut on 28th so Im assuming Lloyds be ok with that.

I need to find decent p/t job already dropped daughter down to 1day at nursury and that will be it until april when we get vouchers but looking into preschools with holidays as with private nursury there would be a surplus as vouchers for 38weeks and nursury runs 51weeks get 2weeks hols at half rate!

Hi everyone - think list is up to date now! Thanks for the news of payments - well done everyone - total paid looking healthy given it is still 2008! And welcome to our new joiners - hope we can all encourage each other to reach those 2009 targets. Don't forget to post when you make a payment - whether scheduled or overpayment - with the amount so that I can add it to the group paid total. We collectively have over £430K to pay off by the end of next year which is quite scary - so we need every payment to boost the corresponding "paid" total! (currently over £6.5K so pretty good but a way still to go!!).0
