Wow, what a nice surprise brown615. Congratulations!
I've decided to join the £2 savers club. It's all going into a Chappie(dog food) tin for now. Hoping to fill it before the summer is out. In an ideal world I will have to move onto a bigger container:p
So, to get the ball rolling, I've just put £2 into the tin. It sounds so lonely rattling around on its on in there. Lets hope it gets plenty of company very soon;)2018 wins: Hong Kong holiday0 -
Well I released £40 worth back into the wild on Friday and then during a short stay in London I got 3 new ones.0

Hi ThunderCat,
Welcome to the club, added you to the list.
We have got a lot of members now, so no wonder there's not many £2 coins to be had.
I guess it makes this club even more exclusive lol
Happy saving

I got another two today so they will be going in my money box when I get home.
We have two £2 jars at home so maybe it's us that are hogging them all - sorry! Have still got quite a way to go until I fill our jars up though so they won't be going back out into the world just yet.One day Rodney we'll be millionaires£2020 in 2020 - Running Total £170 -

We had some in the change at work this afternoon so am taking some of my errant £1 coins from my old tips pot to swop for the £2 for my tin. Still struggling other wise though, me thinks we are being far too selfish in keeping them all locked away in our pots! It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Hi Scubaangel,
I know what you mean, I have decided that once my money pot is full this time I'm not going to save any more in there but in something else that I can access them easily enough to bank them.
Got a long wait yet until it's full.
