£2 savers club (Part 3)

TheBees have done our 3 monthly count and disappointingly there was only £94 in the Puffin!! I say disappointingly because I was aiming for £100 and from January to March we collected exactly £94 too. How weird is that... exactly the same amount! :rotfl:
So that's another £94 towards the Pay off the mortgage account to be used for the capital repayment at the end of the year.
Haven't seen any £2 coins for weeks...:mad:

I have decided to also start saving 5p coins as I'm just sick of them rolling out of the side of my purse! I'm too MSE to buy a new one, so the 5p coins will have to settle into their new piggy bank home for now!

I'm starting to really think there are less £2 coins in circulation. I bought something worth 90p today with a £10 note and they lady said sorry I've just handed over the last £5 note, so I thought great, here come some more for the tin - but I was given nine £1 coins!

Hi all,

Banked £60 today towards holiday.

Still have £42 sitting in pot - & got another coin from Coop when i went to get milk so grand total is £44. Was originally sving towrds a Brownie international hols but as that has fallen through am now using £2 savings for my own summer hols in St Ives and the Brownie Pack hols that are taking place in Oct.

So far have 1/3 of Summer camping trip banked. Yeah:j

After going on holiday I seem to have wandered back in to a £2 coin drought, am hoping some more will start to turn up soon.
