I am sorry but I think this post is complete BS! All of the products I have wanted recently from RS have been out of stock. I then phone up the store and am lucky if anyone answers - Bournemouth store. Ask about product and would be making a special journey - well the staff at that particular branch are less than helpful or knowledgeable!!

Shame as I used to buy a lot from them but the guys at that store are morons. Maybe if you are spending a few grand they are more helpful. With more and more Internet stores with items in stock, free or cheap delivery and long guarantees I wonder where their market lies.

this is also my experience. the special offers on the website are rarely, if ever, available in the shops. and ive tried 3 shops near me.
im not sure if they are running a scam to get you to the shop, but it certainly has a wiff of a scam about it.
i wont be shopping there again.
