it was nice to be a learner - nice to be able to just walk away at the end of the evening and know I didn't have to pack up, make sure everything was put away etc.

Last cookery class of the term tonight - where have the last 10 weeks gone?

  • I'm hopeful the radiator will do the trick. They are a kind of polyester, non-iron type material, so should be ok.

This is what I got up to last night - no laughing by the cake officionados - this is the first ever cake I've marzipanned, covered in icing and then decorated!! We were shown how to cover and then given a free rein to do whatever we wanted with what was there. I kind of did my own thing and then saw that everyone elsehad done dinky little christmas decorations with little bits of iced holly, presents, gold rope etc! Mine was a bit OTT in comparison, but hey, the title of the course was 'creative cake decorating'!!!! :rotfl:

That looks great BB, very effective and you would have no problem flogging it in a shop:D :T

yes, but it might separate when you defrost it. If it does, whisk it all up whilst still cold.

right, off back to work. See you all tomorrow.
