Happy saving to you and enjoy chatting to us all.

Very well done bookadict!!! but...now stand right away from it and resist that temptation!!!....Good to see you put the money away kittikins - though be careful not to spend it allin other ways - well til Christmas!!;)I do hope your little girl really enjoyed her first real ballet, it's magical for them on that first time.:) .......You have something marvellous to save for Glenda! By intending to go to Australia for as long as you can afford, I take it that does mean going for a holiday? :confused:Marg, good luck with your dream ...and may it come true! Pips Mum, those are great ways to 'spend' your savings!:A ratty, you just let me know IF you do decide to change, any time is fine by me as it makes no difference.....PAI Denial, I promise you you're not alone (!!), but whatever we get is better in our pots than not saved!:j ...Ah jpwhittle, you're little lad always makes me smile, dear little fellar, he's being brought up to save money, we can't argue with that!:D.....Puzzled, that makes perfect sense, a darn good idea too!:A ....Well saved Miss P!!! ;)

Well done everyone, another really good day's saving, it's a pleasure to see the happiness.

Emptied purse of shrapnel yesterday and had about 5€ so added to the pot. :j

Having decided to move to cash I was horrified to go through the weekly food/household budget in about 3 days and not have bought any food :rotfl: It's going on things like stamps plus I got loads of 2€ for that challenge and I have to keep some change back to buy the calendars from the postie and the fire service (their Christmas boxes). I had to dip into this weeks budget to buy some bread on Saturday but hopefully it will even out. At least I'm realising how much is being spent.
