Thank you. I was made a batch of crispy cakes to brighten my morning, so that was nice. No dates for any of the tests yet.

Pots 1 and 2 got 10p each and had to be jolly grateful, and pot 3 got 50p. No going out today means a no spend day so no change either. Am off to research bus passes. Hope you all have a good Sunday

            Morning everyone.....:hello:

Sue-UU......I am fine thanks, although fed up.......I have to confess that I have had to borrow £60 out of my pot, and also I havn't been able to put my usual £40 in at the end of the month. We have had quite an expensive month and then on top of it all we got an unexpected bill.!!!! Anyway I suppose on the bright side, at least I did have the extra money saved up. I have written an i.o.u for £100 pounds and should be able to put that back at the end of August, and I WILL put it back. Next year I am going to have a birthday pot, because some months I have 4/5 birthdays in the same month which is a killer.

Anyway I did put about £2.75 in coppers into the pot. Glad to hear everyone is still saving, I'm going out today to buy my grandaughter a birthday present, trying to make a £20 note look like its done the work of £40.!! She is only 4, so she is easy to please.

            Have a good day everyone.:D

            Hi there,
            Can I join please?
I have a piggy bank thats been feeling neglegted of late ;)
I'll have to hide it from my BF, he seems to think its the 'haven't any change for the bus fare bank!'
Oh and my target is £100 to pay for flights to Ireland for xmas, can't have BF's mum paying again!
            Hehe

          3. Could I join this challenge please?
I have a ginormous ceramic piggy bank that we have been putting loose change into for several months already. I'd like to use it for taking the family to Normandy next year. I'd like to aim for £400 please. When it gets full (as it nearly is) I'm going to shake out all the money and then open an account which mustn't be touched and then start filling again.
            Thanks xx

Afternoon folks, am back from my hols, had a fab time so just emptied all my sterling change in to my bottle to celebrate. Off to the bank tomorrow to pay all my notes back in once I've found last times Egyptian cash (it has to be in my room somewhere and I totally forgot I had any until I got there).

            hi all,

Well done on all the money finds people, and congrats MSFC :)

I had a really good find last week - found £5 on the way to work so treated myself and house mate to lunch from the van and bought an (unlucky) lottery ticket. Then, 2 days later, house mate pops out for lunch and finds £5 lmao, so that bought us fish and chips and another (unlucky) lottery ticket.

Pity i didnt have the restraint to put it in my pot, but then, a girl needs her treats (especially at the end of the month when funds are tight lol

Still putting the pennies in, have got the relatives hooked as well - opened gramp's pot this weekend (as it was full) and he had £27 in pennies and 2pennies, then did nan's, £30 in 5p's and 20p's - iv e just got to resist the tempation to open mine now after seeing all those pennies add up lol
