    Morning everyone.:hello:

I'm still here, and I do read the posts most days. The sun has been shining and I've either been out in the garden or at work, and both are leaving me feeling very tired at the moment,_pale_ which is not like me. I usually have loads of energy so I think I am ready for a holiday, or at least time off work. Even the knitting has got put on hold.!

Anyway enough of this moaning. I'm glad to see everyone is still saving.:T I only put a measley 1p in my tin yesterday.:o I am going to make a big effort to put something in everyday, as well as my usual £40 at the beginning of the month. I am already trying to work out how much I need to save for next year, OH is 60 so want a nice holiday for him. (Think I'll need 2 potties for next year):rolleyes2

Hoping to have a NSD today, its raining buckets here so I shall spend the day baking and reading and having :coffee:

I promise to check in everyday and not go missing without permission.:rotfl:

Hi everyone - good to see you all are still saving away - still adding to my tin slowly but surely and am dying to open it, it feels so heavy now!

Ligthattheend my local B&M had some really cool tins to save money in (the kind you have to open with a tin opener) they are £1 each - my 2 have used these this year and have loved saving - they opened the first one on 1st June as couldnt wait a whole 12 months - so now tin no2 has started ready for them buying their own christmas presents.

    Have a good weekend x

Hello Our Elsie! It's so good to see your name here, but you have to do what you're happy with, we all understand that, but just love to know you're ok, after all, where would we be without you!

The above tells me that you need to listen to your body and act on what it's telling you; rest more, do something you find gives you a buzz of excitement or maybe even get some more sleep if you think it's necessary. Look after yourself, and yes, start looking around for the best holiday to go for so you have something to look forward to. It all helps, as you most likely know. BTW, a measly 1p in your tin yesterday is better than not putting one in, pennies make pounds remember and will all add up for you OH's Birthday! Take care Elsie, love Sue x.
Thanks Sue. I'm trying to encourage my 14 year old to save as well but thats not so easy!! :rotfl:

Oh dear LATE, I remember them, not easy at times! Remind him or her that it won't be too long before he/she needs something like a car, special clothes for clubs etc. If it's a lad, remind him of the fact that all too soon he'll need cash to take his girlfriends out with!! If it's a lass she'll always be wanting clothes and we know what they're like at that age...never have enough!!!

Lovely to see you back again snickers, good to know you're still saving well too, BUT to avoid more temptation of viewing it's contents, fling your cash in the pot each time then treat it like a bomb - keep well away and don't even look at it!! Wait for the great surprise at Christmas!:j

Well done on the insurance MSFC!! :T ...and at least eeyore's still being fed!

3p in mine today, not a lot but we can't always be putting it in so it'll have to do til next shop.
Enjoy your day and make the most of it.

    Sue
