I'm nearly at the top of my first tin and have been thinking about what we'll do when we have to bag up all that change. We'll soon get to know our fellow challengers when we are all cued up at the bank!

:hello: Wonder if we will be able to put a name to the faces if Sparky had his way we would be looking for a small man not much hair and a bit overweight I bet he's a Pierce Brosnan look alike really. We will all be staring at each other weighed down with bags of copper trying to guess whose who :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Still it's good to know how well we are all doing I've saved my vouchers from Royal Mail for Christmas should I count these in my total?

I'm with Lloyds bank and the staff are really miserable at my branch so can see problems there!!

Do the post office change money??

    Hi LC2,
Pierce Brosnan, I don't think, more like the Dad from Stavros Flatley! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

If you've got a HSBC account, they have the coin machines in some of the branches, and the cash goes straight into your account, with no charge for counting it

    Hi Sparky,

No haven't got a HSBC account. Will just have to be brave and go to Lloyds. My DH says when they are rude I should answer them back the other day I went in to pay some money off my CC and received a lecture about not bringing my bill in even though I had already paid that and was paying extra off!!! I can always think of a good reply on my way out but at the time just stand there and apologies.

Well after reading about the sealed pot challenge on another thread I started one on the 10th May so can I join the list of members please? Even got my 3 year old joining in - she's always looking for coins when we go out so they can go in the jar! :D

Haven't popped in for a while but I am still saving my change in my pot!

Trouble is £2 coins seemed to vanish for half of the month of May so not so many going in sadly.

I banked some more cash this week (as part of a mystery shop so I effectively got paid to do it - LOL!) so my siggy is updated.

I also managed to locate another 2p in roadkill, much to my excitement :rotfl:

    Hi LC2,
Instead of going into miserable Lloyds, why not try out some local businesses, like pubs etc, and see if they could use some change, they might be grateful for it ;)

    HTH, stay safe
