I have nearly filled my first pot:j keep trying to peep inside and am very tempted to open it just to see how much I've got:rolleyes: but must resist!!!!:p
I will be opening mine a little bit earlier as we go away on the 17th Nov to Florida so hoping this will help with the spends:D0 -
Morning SueCan you imagine 690 of us cramming our way in, we'd soon have it back to how it WAS!! Don't tell DW that!!!

I think she would have a blue fit , you'd all have to remember to wipe your feet at the front door & don't forget to say hello to the Jack Russell
, tell you what there's a field that backs onto our house, so if everyone goes through in single file, they can have viewing of the kitchen tour, with a small donation  ( I could have one of the signs you see in museums, stating the suggested donation :T) to the sealed pot of course lol, then file out onto the field!

Morning LC2,
Of course you can bring the kids, just make sure they've got a "donation" for the pot, when they file through :rotfl:, looks like another lovely day out there, got to walk the pup to the vets for her 6 month check up, so I'll have to put some lotion on my noggin, to stop it getting burnt, as I'm a bit thin on the fairway

£8 plus other shrapnel in the tin today. OH is getting into it - he handed over £4 in £2 coins - I do not spend £2 coins and it seems this rule has spread! Given all the money I've put in, I think I may already be over my target of £300!
I'm nearly at the top of my first tin and have been thinking about what we'll do when we have to bag up all that change. We'll soon get to know our fellow challengers when we are all queued up at the bank!

Hi everyone.
I found a 5p piece in my coat pocket this morning!! I was so pleased then I thought 'How sad am I? Getting excited about 5p!' But this saving lark is VERY addictive.
15p in sealed pot today. 26p in coppers bottle. Not enormous sums but they all add up. Also got a £5 voucher from GfK valid till June 2010 - that will come in handy for Xmas too.
Goodnight sleep tight everyone.
