  • I am still saving my change but banking it periodically.

Just back from London and had lots of change from this trip - they seemed more willing to give £2 coins in my change there for some reason :D

No roadkill however, apart from a 1p coin salvaged from my daughter who had discarded it on the hotel room floor :p

Hi please can I join the challenge?? Getting married in October and would like to have a target of £500 to upgrade to the honeymoon suite and to pay for hairdresser to come and sort me out in the morning!!

Currently using an old coffee jar, but will be crafting up a Cash Cow later today! My DB8 also wants to join in and wants a Saving Swordfish (??) so creative talents are going to be stretched!!

    Thank you xxx

As always, slow but sure, just the occasional coin going in my tin but they all count. Keep at it everyone.

You LUCKY so and so bigbum, and there's me had a measly 4p since Christmas!!! Well spotted!:T

:rotfl: I'm not normally this lucky Sue, but hey, take it where you can get it! Got another 22p roadkill! :T :rotfl:

I'm sending positive 'roadkill' vibes your way Sue :D.

Please can I join in? It's a bit cheeky cos I have a HUGE whisky bottle about half full but REALLY need to save for Christmas so this would be ideal. I've been popping my coppers in my little boys money tin but as he'll benefit from my fund it's ok to share isn't it

Jollymummy, i hope your bottle is half-full with money and not whisky :rotfl:. I'm just being silly :D, good luck with saving. :)

Enjoy what's left of your weekend peeps.

Thanks Sue! I agree it can get addictive (I'm obsessed already!) but at least there'll be something positive at the end of it. I have to be careful though, I almost went to the shop and broke into a tenner, just so I could have some pound coins! But then I realised that was just silly.:rotfl:
