OK Kas, you can get off as to have you surgically removed just doesn't bear thinking of!! Just behave yourself here on!

Hi everyone, I hope you all enjoyed Easter whatever you did.

Hi there *CheshireBelle* and mumzy, good to see you both. You're saving very well CBelle!!

Try not to worry Our Elsie, it never does much good and certainly won't help. Tis true what you say about worries always being worse at night time, but there's never anything to distract us as there is in the daytime. Course you could always have counted imaginary pounds NOT real ones!!!

Hiya sparky, you sound as thought you've transformed your kitchen, I'll bet your DH is delighted with it.

I found a 1p in the car park yesterday, first for a while!! Nowt else in the pot this week - yet, but still time to go!

gratefulforhelp, 20p from DH's pocket is awful, reach further down for the pounds or notes!!! ;)

Have a great Thursday ALL and keep up with the saving.

Sue. Any new friends wishing to join us, please just ask and I'll be with you ASAP.

    Morning everyone.

Not posted for a couple of days, not a lot going on really except the usual, work, bed, housework.:D

Lucky Charlie...:hello:....I havn't been walking to work. I live 3 miles from work, and I couldn't decide whether to walk to work and then stand on my feet for 6 hours, or walk back home, after standing for 6 hours. So I did neither and still get the bus.:o

Little Chicken, :hello: I am sure you will get into the swing of this working lark, and that you will master the job. It sounds exciting and a challenge, and you're good at those.!:T

Reb, :hello: have a lovely weekend away. Its nice to get away by yourselves, I think I remember that, but nowadays we can't go anywhere without our grandchildren, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Well, only £1.50 into my pottie today, would have had more but I am taking the bull by the horns, and joining a slimming club tonight:eek: so need cash for that. It annoys me having to pay, but I can't do it on my own, so it will be worth it in the long run. I won't need to buy any new clothes for ages, I've got a wardrobe full that don't fit.

Sue..:hello:...I have counted, and spent my imaginary pounds many times, and then the bubble bursts and you wake up, but hey-ho, its a blip and before long I'll be back to normal. My OH says I can worry for England, and if I don't have anything to worry about, then I find something.:rolleyes2

Right I'm off, have a good day everyone, and keep saving.:T:T

Hello all, been away for ages having pieces I obviously have no further use for removed in hosp. The bits that I'm left with are in a long term sulk, only cured by periodical chocolate breaks. And whilst I had ages (and ages) to think and plan a few friends and I decided to book a holiday all together next year so I seriously have to up my game to salve my conscience about spending on a holiday instead of paying off debts. So we have added a third terramundi to the challenge and I shall be seriously ebay-ing and overtime-ing to get that holiday into gear.

Had a lovely day to-day but it was another NSD so no pennies for my jar again still at least I haven't spent any money.

LC Glad the job is working out well you will soon get used to it.

Oh Elsie If I had to walk three miles I wouldn't need to think about walking I would be first in that bus queue:rotfl:

            Hi everyone

Not been on to post for what seems like an eternity. I've been getting really carried away with trying to grow my own veggies and have managed to embarass myself on the green fingers forum by asking some daft questions  but you don't ask and you don't find out. I'm pleased to say i'm well on my way to saving the pennies on my veggie bill this year with tomatoes, beetroot, garlic, potatoes, lettuce, peppers, spring onions, strawberries and i've still loads of seeds to try out.:rotfl:

Anyway i'm pleased to say that i've hit the halfway mark on my target already:rotfl:, so i'm looking forward to an excellent Christmas :j:j
:jYou've got to be in it to win it!! Just believe to receive!! :j
