some more coins in the tin today.
was in town today and heard someone drop some change. Turned round and saw it on the floor and was really disappointed to see the person pick it up -think this challenge is turning me into a bad person as normally I would have thought to mention it to the person dropping it and not have thought of my sealed tin0 -
93 pence for me today.
DS and I are having a race on how far up the demi-john the money will be by December next year...I haven't told him if he'll win a prize :rotfl: well he is only four!

Meant to post this earlier but been unwell for a few days. My scavenge around the car netted me 3€51 :j I've added to that a small handful of shrapnel left after the weeks shopping.
The good thing about being ill was it gave me time to think about the challenge and I've realised that with my current spending habits I'm not going to save much at all. So... a change is in order. I'm going to draw out a months worth of grocery money and use that rather than my debit card. I'll now have to think about what I'm buying and do I really want it. It's frightened me a couple of times when I've left the supermarket and I realise that I've no idea what I've spent. I've been too busy trying to get cards and pin numbers sorted and the trolley re-packed etc. :eek:That has to stop.
Not quite sure what I'll do if there are things for the farm or the renovations along with the groceries but I'll deal with that when it occurs - I've always an emergency note tucked away just in case so I guess I could use that.Aiming for a Champagne Lifestyle on a Lemonade Budget
