A very warm welcome to new members NoDebtDiva and mumoffour77! Good to see you both here, you'll find your numbers on page 1, your target too MOF77. Please join in with the chat and feel at home! We're honoured to think you feel 'honoured' mumoffour77 ....what a month December must be for you!!! Let's hope this challenge helps you to get a peace of mind. BTW. I'll stick with being mum of 2!!! :rolleyes2 £100 as your target is fine, it's all about what YOU want after all and if you don't make it, it doesn't matter, well not to us personally!:D

    Hi Sue

Yep - cover a balloon with a layer of newspaper papier mache, then tape the feet and snout on (means its smooth on the inside and coins don;t get stuck in the feet when you burst the balloon) then just keep layering with newspaper strips. I then left it a week till it was dry before painting it. For post last year I did the final layer with spotty tissue paper and Pete the Penguin is a final couple of payers of tissue paper.

    Hope that is some help!!

Thanks so much for the advice, and yes, it'll certainly help a lot...but how do you get the paste on to paper without a brush, dip each strip in or.... I'm glad you said about the tissue too as I've plenty of that. Brilliant, now I can get on - without excuses. It might sound daft, but I'm almost terrified of starting it! :o...........<<<<"really love reading this thread and so glad I'm part of the team">>>> That was a real pleasure to read Kittikins, I hope everyone else feels the same as that's exactly the atmosphere we need and I was hoping for, keep enjoying it and well done with your "do I need it" policy!! :T

Hi maz123. Pleased you freed up your jar! Now to do your sig - go to "User CP" at the top left of the page, click through, then on top left you'll find a list of things to change if you wish. Look for "Edit sig" click on it and away you go. Any problem please shout. ..........Natty68, it's always wonderful to hear that hubbies or OH's are enticed into saving too, good luck the pair of you.............Wow lilmissmup!!!!! What a holiday to look forward to! :D Would you like me to put that on your target or £100? At present it's for £500..........Nickynoo, thanks so much for telling me, where's that to then?? ..........A great amount mcjordi, though I see what you mean with the early start.....Don't feel threatened by him Miss Piggy as every coin counts! :A .....LC - I almost missed that!!! I would ask what the devil are you doing with money under the bed, but maybe I'd best not!;) No 'only' about it ratty!

All best wishes to everyone, you're ALL doing so well.:T

    Hello All
Thanks for your support and nice messages.:T

Pleased to report I am much happier today and have decided to use half of my sealed pot money to pay off debts when I open it next December. As hard as I am trying to clear it, pretty sure there will still be some of it left this time next year:rotfl:

Well done to everyone, we are all doing very well already.
Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700
