Well done, Sparky, on getting all that money back off them!!
Isn't it great when you can pay off a chunk of debt?
I put a few quid in my pot today, first time in a week.:oSealed Pot challenge #59SPC5 total £473.600 -
Nice one Sparky!
I have to admit I cracked the other day and opened my tin.... i just couldnt resist counting it!
I'm behind target as I only had just over £35 in there - but paid it off my CC so thats £35 that woudnt have been paid off without this thread - so thanks very much guys for your support.
Lid is now taped back on and I know I've got to start getting more change in there if I'm ever going to meet my target!!

Thanks everyone,
I can pay off 4 overdrafts, replace the kitchen cupboard doors & drawer fronts, and still have some money left over :j . I was paying £32 per week towards the overdrafts, but now I can use that to pay off extra to the credit card debts :T . It feels fantastic, that for the price of 3 or 4 recorded delivery letters to be getting sooo much money back :j
Also still waiting to hear from C(r)ap 1 about how much PPI I will be getting back from them. That will just go straight off one of the card debts :T .
On a serious note JPW hope everything went well for Noah today hun, we've had our fingers crossed for you all today.

WOW Sparky, that's fab. Makes me think it might be worth claiming back all of DH's bank charges. He's probably paid at least £25 a month for years. Do you have to work out what they owe you before you claim?
Hi FFPrincess, did you see my sig on Flylady and decide to join in? It's good here and you can get HRH Princess Piper to pick up the roadkill as she's nearer the floor!
Poor Elsie, at least you saw it! I never get any roadkill, glued down or otherwise.
There is £1.20 on the table. It's been there for about a week, but DH said no the other day when I suggested donating it to me. Hmmm....what's his is mine and all that...I'll leave it a few days and see what happens...I think he's forgotten it, especially as I've put something on top of it!"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

Hiya Rosepink,
You have to do the statement request SAR letter, just click on the reclaim £1000's tab at the top left hand side of this page, and go to the bank charges recliaming thread, that explains everything, and gives you all the template letters.Sparky0107 - Sealed pot challenge member #002. Thanks Sparky. My brain can't take any more tonight so I'm going to do some knitting and look at it all tomorrow. I've never thought it would be worth it before but seeing what's happened to you gives me hope."Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

evening all, noahs appointment went ok today, the doctor agrees it hasnt shrunk any and says hes got 6 weeks and if it doesnt improve hes operating as he doesnt want to leave it much longer, he did say though in 99% of cases its nothing but e need to be on the safe side, evies stillmteething and driving us mad so the no sleep thing is making everything worse like only losing 1/2 pound at weightwatchers, but it will improve soon im sure, looks like if they operate though it will be straight after our holiday on may.
another £2 in the pot today and a moment of great pride thinking i had enough now for all my christmas food, thats a great thought.
great news on the repayment sparky going to get husband to sort mine next week when ive cleared my overdraft,
what mean people supergluing pennies to pavements although might be the safest way to save it lol.back to comping in 2017, fingers crossed :beer:0 -

Thanks JPW,
I don't have any myself (that I know oflol!), but kids are a worry aren't they, fingers crossed that everything will be fine. Can you not give evie some whisky on her dummy? , or you drink the whisky, it may help you sleep
DW and I save for Christmas food by giving my mum money each month, then she buys stamps for Mr M's & puts money on a Mr A's card, so we don't have to look for money come December. Plus with all the vouchers I've earned this year I'm determined that DW and I will not have to spend a single penny on presents :jSparky0107 - Sealed pot challenge member #002. oh dont have any lol, no they are great love my babies to bits (although think the idea of a third is quicly disapeering) but they are hard work, just keep telling myself when evies teeth are through she will settle again, lol not aloowed to do the whisky things these days/not allowed to do anything these days but i might try it, spoke to my mum though and shes going to come and see me this week wich will be nice (we are RAF and live 120miles away so its really nice that they are going to come over) i miss her and sometimes wish i could go for a cuppa, especially days like this.
unfortunatly taught noah a bad word today when i called an ignorant old woman an old fart when she dicided she didnt do queues and walked stright past us and pushed us out the way with her nose in the air, she then said she was strugling with her basket, so was i with shopping car seats and a 3 year old, lost my rag and told husband she was an old fart so noah told him the same. oops never mind. children are funnyback to comping in 2017, fingers crossed :beer:0
