Still no road kill not even the Elsie type. Have put a lot of pennies in my pot though at least £20 that might get me a star.

DH home today so he has done the school run. I hate the school run there is no other way but to go by car its too far to walk I don't park near the school about 2 or 3 streets away not outside peoples drive not blocking anyone in but still get shouted at for parking near their houses cos they think they are special they don't have children obvisously.Right I've had my little moan for the day So have a lovely day everyone x LC2

Furneem - Sounds fair enough, better be quick getting a sealed one :D

Sparky - Sounds inspiring! I just downloaded the template letter. Might even fill it in and send it...... About people in queues... I've never had anyone ask to go in front, and never would ask myself, but always let people ahead of me if they only have a couple of items. That said, if they had the cheek to ask I would tell them to p off too...

Greenbynature - Can't believe they just tossed them! Good thing is when you open your tin and show them how much you've saved just by keeping those coppers, they might change their ways ;)

jpwhittle - Agree with you, not allowed to do anything these days  Hope everything goes well with Noah, thinking of you. Don't worry about the weight loss, it's not that important and you don't need to add to the worry pile ;) About old ppl in shops: I always get squashed in supermarkets by older people. I am 22 and come from a country where you just let old people do nearly anything they want, so never say a thing. I should learn though, it can be painful being squashed between trollies, I talk from experience!!!

Kerfuffle - How did you get money for your recyclables?

luckycharlie - Nasty childless people. Just give them the finger ;)

Bit of change went in last night, DH been spending  I'm starting the Grocery Challenge from the Old Style board on Saturday, hopefully will be more in charge of the cash then and will also be able to save some pennies to put in the pot :D It is already quite heavy as I had a little (unsealed) pot with all my coppers in it and I just transferred it all to the new one ;)

morning all, no pennies in the pot for me as spent mornig at the doctors, for me this time finally got myself sorted, i couldnt breath but been told its the stress affecting my asthma and i need to have a really good rest, also had to have blood tests as she thinks i may have an underactive thyroid as my weight can go drastically up for nothing, were most people have a bad week with points and put on 3llb ill have a bad day and put on 3lb and doctor said that shouldnt happen, so not suprising i cant cope recently, she also said she would be stressed going through all this so understands the effect its having on my health to. sorry im a mess arent i? i bet you dread reading my posts? lol im good though will look forward to my holiday and my parents coming next week, and hopefully soon everything will [pick up.
had a compliment though when the nurse and doctor said im by no means fat!! yippeee diet working just 14lbs to go.

£10 note and a bit of change into my pot today...:j...( I'm putting it in today instead of my usual Saturday morning ritual ) whilst I have it in my purse otherwise once I break into a tenner it just seems to disappear.:confused: The only thing about putting notes in, is that they don't weigh that much and they don't Rattle. !! it feels like there is not a lot in it. Roll on December when I can count it and more to the point.........CAN SPEND IT.:T:T

I have never had money saved for so long. Yipee.
