    Hi everyone, :j

Just thought I would share my experience with you all. This morning on my way to work, ever mindful of Sparky's instructions on finding roadkill, there I was waiting at the bus stop checking the ground without hopefully being obvious. Then I spotted it, a nice shiny 2p on the floor inside the bus stop, so there I go bending down ( which at my age is no mean feat, once down the old knee's play up and I can't straighten up again ) ............no matter how hard I tried to pick up the 2p......some bl***y smart alec had only gone and super glued it to the floor. !!:mad:.....It was obviously a huge source of amusement to someone. .:D So my lesson this morning is when you spot your roadkill, give it a nudge with the old toes and see if it moves. Only then bend down and retrieve it I couldn't stop laughing to myself once I saw the funny side of it.

    OK suspense over,
(Drum Roll) I received a letter from HFC bank to settle my claim for mis-sold PPI. I had the figure of £400 or there about, the letter breaks it down as follows HFC are paying me £1,419.74 plus 8% stat interest £765.48 making a grand total of £2185.22 :j . I would have been happy with the £400 ;) , so now I can clear all of my overdrafts, and start to concentrate on the credit cards.

Hope it was worth the wait LC x :D

That's fab news Sparky. I'm really pleased for you. Poor Elsie, that gluing the money down gets ya every time! Anyway people, I'm off now for a few days as I've got a friend coming to visit. Soooooo keep up the good work, and don't let the side down. PS: the second part of my interview is a presentation entitled 'How do we differentiate ourselves from the competition?' Any ideas greatly received. so far I'm suggesting compulsory pink wig wearing. VERY different for a bunch of accountants don't you think. xxxLCxxx
