A very warm welcome to the thread xx_Jo_xx, eternal_sunshine and noynoy. Lovely to meet you and sorry to keep you all waiting, but I've had problems here.
Enjoy yourselves here and have great fun saving. You'll find your numbers at the bottom of the list on post 2 of page 1, read through posts 1 & 2 as it'll help you with any queries
You're not kidding sparky! Though it's only (of all web sites) MSE that I just can't get on to for love nor money and get a message come up saying "400 Bad request. Your browser sent a request that this server couldn't understand"! (Twit!!) I've written into them via DH's puter, same as I'm on now, but NO REPLY!!!!! and I'm not best pleased! Am about to put a thread on the Techie board as there are some great folk on there - so fingers crossed for me all please!
jpwhittle - has Noah ever had Tonsilitis? Our lass had a nasty bout when she was about 2 and it left her with a 'tumour' on her wrist. The word tumour then scared me, but finally it turned out ok and she was alright and it went away, but they weren't sure what to do at first. I do hope there's good news about Noah soon and whatever it is is treatable and will GO!!!.........Hi young Jess and good for you with the gym and the swimming pool signing! A 30 minute walk first and after as well - lots of excersise indeed!!!:j......good luck with your card Greenbynature, easily done though......Great to see you oops!!!......Ahhhh thanks LC, using DH's puter (see not to sparky above) will be glad when I'm back proper as I like my puter better and all my MSE e-mails come to there. Lappie? Can't afford a lappie ..this is MSE thou knows!....Jordan do you HAVE to have that blasted smilie eating the rabbit on your sig, I've chocolate on the brain after seeing him scoffing his!!! Roll on Easter!
Have a great day all and I HOPE to be back with you proper asap. You all take care just in case I don't see you for a day or two.

Sue isn't technology great when it works properly? Thats the kind of trouble I had with my puter, but a desk top puter is harder to throw across the room (too heavy  ) hope you get yours sorted soon.

Nice to see you getting on Sue, a few coppery ones went in to my pot last night after my MS - while I was in there I realised I still have £30 left in my purse from the £100 I withdrew for my weekend away, two weeks ago!! So was very pleased at that, tempted to drop it in to the bottle but am going to see one of the girlies this weekend and need to buy some vino to take (ASDA 3 for £10 on the one we love :j).
Still looking for that elusive second job, think I'm going to open a second bank account for it so I actually do save - and no internet banking or I'll just keep transferring it out after I get paid - so might empty a part of whats in the bottle to open the account with, I really really need to go on a road kill hunt though, I know where I should be looking and I know when I can go looking, I just cant be bothered to get out of bed early enough to do it before work, and considering I start work at noon that really is a disgrace. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Well its only been four months since I started this challenge and to date I have managed to open my tin (dire emergency), not spend the money in my tin (solution to a cashflow problem came 30 minutes after I opened my tin) and post once. Not doing so well, especially as I only had £20 in the tin and to reach my target I need to save £42 per month.
On the plus side I am trying to budget so that any tips from my saturday night bar job and any extra shifts go straight into the tin. Only need to save £56 per month now lol:rotfl:Growing old is mandatory:

Hi, may I join the Challenge?
I will be using an old Pringles can (probably a couple of years old since we don't eat them anymore!).
I have been using Pringles cans for coins since I was 6. My big brothers and I would seal the top properly, then melt a slit at the top, then decorate them.
This is the first tiem I will actually do it as a challenge, instead of just doing it out of habit. I won't set myself a target as we're not having much spare money these days, and we usually only have copper coins left.
Can't wait to start! :hello:GC March Wk1 £28.72/£30 Wk2 £28.4/£29
