I nearly had to raid my pot today, well I did raid it, to buy food. We have a cash flow prob, but fortunately the cheque for hte work DH did last week arrived this morning so when that clears things will be fine again. Anyway, I arrived at Mr S with a load of change and apologised to the cashier. She said: why not use your nectar points? It turns out I have zillions of points! She let me use them in £2.50 chunks (not sure why) so I got £13.30 worth of stuff for £1.30! Result! :j"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

I got a good call this morning, I wrote to MBNA (virgin credit card) last week to complain about missing the minimum payment, (I thought I had a dd set up) and being charged interest on my 0% card. They thanked me for my 'comprehensive' letter.:rotfl:And are refunding me all of the charges. I am very shocked. The bloke was actually appologetic.
I wrote a letter and complained to Selfridges on the same day. They sent me a hamper this week (no apology though). Hamper contained chocolate:D:D:D.
Went out for pizza last night and put about £10 in my pottie. I've transferred my £181 from piggy wig into my ISA. OOOOH! I'm feeling like a winner today.:j Almost makes up for the lack of valentines gift/card from mr LC.:oSave me from spending...
