Well done on the smoke money saved Tommy!! Keep it up:T....You must do whatever you think's best LMM. Good luck whichever you go for, is half and half any good? Keep with us won't you!:A....kdalwayskint, it's very naughty, but I do believe, for her good, I'd have done the same as she'd probably chucked it out!!....Thanks a lot sparky, one of my right hand men!;)....Great minds thinking alike Hales, I'd been concerned about young Jess, though she did say she wasn't able to continue with her job owing to illness of her boss's dad and wouldn't be able to put any money in her pot, seems odd without her though. Hope you get some joy in PMing here sparky.

Finished shopping today and DH flicked a beautiful £2er over to me, then followed it up with a £1er! I told him I'd be happier with another £2er instead to which I heard "hmmph!";)

Keep up the great work all and enjoy the spell of good weather.

Sue PS. For any new friends wishing to join us, please just ask and I'll be with you ASAP.

    Roadkill! I found Roadkill!!!

well ok it was a 2p and a 1p but hey!

also found a 2p at my sisters house, thought about putting it on top of her fridge and then stuffed it in my pocket! Is that naughty?

found a 5p at the bottom of my bag and 1p on the kitchen floor!

so a grand total of 11p in my piggie today!

:T :j Not sure if it's naughty, but it is the sort of thing I would do! LOL! I do tell my married daughter I am going to do it at her house, she just laughs and says go on then. I haven't so far BUT have decided from now on I will!

So if one of my married daughters is snooping on here....clear your floors.....cos Mama is a coming!
I don't get to come on here too often.
    Too buzy money saving!

  • A few more pennies (literally) and a 10p for me in the pot today

As of next month I am going to start upping my game and everything that is left in coins from my 'budget' at the end of the week will go in the pot (unless I am in minus figures - then I won't take it out of the pot but will slap my own wrists for shame) the notes will then reduce the cash I have for the following weeks budget. I am going back to my early MSE days of taking cash out on a Thursday and it having to last me for 7 days, my friends all love to watch me weigh up food or booze  the decision is easier either before or after the latter ;)

    Debt-free and Proud!
    Evening everyone,
Managed to put £1.40 odd in today :D . I've been doing the credit card charges reclaim for my DW, put in a claim for £1056  which included the 8% statutory interest and the response from Cap 1 was £260 plus £20 interest, so we've now gone to stage 2 threaten with court action ;) . I'll keep you posted :D

I have PM'd Jess today, will just have to wait to see if she replies. Sue I've PM'd you also ;)

Everyone seems to be doing well, keep it up everyone :T
