    Hello everybody,

afraid I've been AWOL for some time as I reverted to lurkdom and more recently have been without t'internet.

Anyway I thought I would just do an update and then when I've more time will try and catch up with previous posts.

So, the contributions to my sealed pot since my last visit are:-

    Recycling 15.56
    Roadkill .05
    IOU 2.00

    Total 17.61

Plus, I've hit on an idea so that I can put extra money into the pot. I've unearthed a gum ball machine and have put loads of jelly beans into so that now when I need a sugar fix I have to 'buy' my jelly beans. It works out that 1 penny gives me 3 beans and I find 9 beans satifies my sugar craving. Also, storing the beans in the machine means I can't eat all the same colour first as I have to have what I get, and more importantly I can't eat them all at once (which has been known), and also it's hard work having to insert the penny and turn the dial and fish the bean out of the dispenser that I actually lose interest after a few beans.

    It all helps.

    Toodles.

    Good evening Stunty,
I'm in fine fettle thanks for asking, don't worry it gets easier the longer you've been married :rotfl:(don't forget the two words to a successful marriage "YES DEAR!" , I know my place lol). Good for you on getting hitched in the Caribbean, at least that way no-one can take over proceedings ;) , I wish DW and I had done something like that :D . I'm on duty here until 11:30, then it's home for a couple of bottles of Tiger beer :T

    evening all.
weell not much added for me recently just dont seem to be getting any change, doesnt have i havent been out the house with noah being ill,
have also reached one of the points were its tempting to open the pot and use the money as ive just found out that the house i rent out needs a £330job doing to it, thats ok it will come out the rent they pay but that payment coincides with daughters blessing and was ment to pay for that and now need to find extra to buy a cake, and guess what, theres enough there for the cake, but im not going to open it i will find away round this, just scuppered all plans as i had the next few months sorted right up to our holiday in may, now having to tighten the pursetrings to make sure everything carries on without using the verdraft again lol.

sorry im going on again, just never rains but it pours does it?

everyone is doing really well and totals going up nicely. keeps going everyone justy another 10 months left lol
back to comping in 2017, fingers crossed
  • Well I have been adding to my pot, but just shove it in without counting sometimes!

We also went to the pictures today, Hotel for dogs - very funny! But we went with one of my sons friends and all tickets today were £3.50, I was organised and booked last night and so glad cos it was sold out when we got there, only thing is booking fee was £1.50 but the cinema for 3 was £12 which I thought was great, and we popped to Mr A to get some goodies first so the kids weren't tempted by the overpriced stuff in the cinema.

I was good yesterday and rang through meter readings for my gas and electric, so pleased I did, my electric has gone up(expected this as made redundant so been on the net more, and used an elec heater when at home on my own) and my gas has come down and I am £6 better off each month, Yay!!! Also as I'm on benefits, I sent off the form to see if we can get reduced rate on them.

so feeling good about stuff at the moment (but i've been thinking about openig piggy just to count to, what is in the air at the moment with us all?)

    Cheers
