    Hiya Everyone,

Still waiting to be added onto list by sue-uu but it wont hold me back. Been at home last couple of days and avoid going out unnecessarily. So nothing to go into my pots.

I'm amazed that those tins hold £500 in £1 coins.
So how about if the tins hold only 50p's and only £2 coins.
I have separate tins for £2, £1, and 50p's. I think the £2 tin has the most in it so far but would love to know the max for each tin.

    Happy Valentines Day everyone.:smileyhea

Hey Sparky, I'm sure the tests will be fine.;)

    How was the interview Skippy?:A:A:A

My agent told me I'm top of the list on the job front, :obut it's a 3-stage process, so I can still fall right off.

£10 in the pottie today, just 'cause I felt like it.

Hi Little Chicken. Found out yesterday that unfortunately I didn't get the job :( Trying not to be too disappointed as there are some others that I can apply for and at least I do have a job in the meantime. Will keep hoping that you have some good news about the job you're applying for.

Anyway - £1 today in the 'Student loans payback' tin and another £1 in the 'ISA' tin.

Boyfriend has just bought a Wii Fit this morning so I think I'm going to be occupied with that for most of the weekend :D Have a lovely weekend all!

    Hello All and Happy Valentine,
I did a few little jobs for people and they insisted I kept the change. After a futile argument I had to keep the money. It's safely installed in my ever growing heavier tin.
I think I may have to take all the change out soon and change it to notes. I wonder if I can get hubby to take the notes out whilst I do so that it is all still a surprise for December. I am a little worried that if he sees how well I am doing he may:

    1 Reduce my housekeeping.
2 Knick the lot!!!!!

    Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm what should I do?

Of course I could ask one of the DD to do it, but they may want 10%!

Of course a third option is to hide that one away and start a new Quality Street tin.
    :j :T :j :T :j :T :j :T :j :T :j

    Problem solved me thinketh!
I don't get to come on here too often.
    Too buzy money saving!
    :D
  • Hi Sue - sorry to hear you've been under the weather. :( Hope you're feeling better now. I can't believe how much wonga people are collecting, and the newbies that are still joining. I know it's a bit naughtie, but I'm starting to feel a bit competitive.:o No coins in my potties today, but we're off out later and if OH is VERY lucky I might buy him a pint, so should get some change.:D

I think I'm going to bank the contents of my piggy-wig as I'm missing filling him up, my boring metal team just isn't the same!

Hey Skippy, I hope you're not too disappointed about the job, but it probably just wasn't the right one for you.:A I haven't heard anything more about mine - but have got an interview somewhere else next week, which is good news.

Sparky - how was the hospital? not too traumatic I hope...

And last, but of course not least, Stunty - how were the pressies received? Hope you got an extra-special something in return.;););)

For those of you sans any valentines card/gift: :smileyhea:lovethoug:love::kisses:
    Save me from spending...
