No 356 checking on a pound in today, only small amounts going in but that's ok as long as I keep on doing it
It feels a bit weird putting change into these pots as I usually use it for buying things. It is stopping me buying things for the sake of it tho' which can only be good!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -

Another warm welcome to new members, lovely to see you Katie2407 and moneysaver09. I'm sure you'll soon pick up the addictive lifestyle we all share.
Your numbers are on page 1. Good luck with much saving!
Hi aisha, I was pleased to see Sufbabe answer your question, for anyone else making one too. I know I'm going to have to do one of them myself as they really capture the eye somehow, and it must be so rewarding. I'm going for a cow ....and if anyone dares give any wise-cracks!!!! .........Nickynoo, what's a PAD???..........Good to see you checking in ratty and you're right about it being addictive, it is ....still if it weren't - we wouldn't reap such great rewards at the end of the year!!:D
Ah go on Puzzled - put it in and walk, you know you want to AND when you're walking you might see some silver and gold, no good keep shouting for the cabbie "Quick! Slam on the anchors there's a 10p piece just back there!!!" :rotfl:Can just picture that!!!! :j.....That's it Norton Blade, I can always adjust the target, just say the word!........Jess, I'm sure you're getting more addicted by the day, though that's not a bad thing, so carry on!:j;)
Hi Surfbabe, did you make your Ziggie and Ziglets entirely from newspaper?. ..Piquant, you can start your pig now or any time, then if needs be, you can have some practice runs, I'm sure I'll need to .....Well done missessex, good to see you've used your imagination instead of your money!!.......Ahh chunky, what a fantastic bit of thinking, that was wonderful to read and what an incentive you have to be saving hard for!!! :heartsmil Good to see romance still blooms.Do I put your target on page 1 now?? A question for you chunky, if you tried, would it be possible with a lot of work maybe to get the money out of the terramundi without breaking it or prising the top off with a claw hammer etc???
A great start littlepinkstars....now for the addiction setting in!!! :j...........Hi Mel, your target is on page 1, good luck with achieving it. You only managed £93.69 this year??? Think where you'd be without it!!It doesn't matter how busy the thread gets, just come on and say what you've got (or not, as I often did on the last thread, many others too) or just have a swift chat to keep you in the spirit of saving. All the best Mel!!!
.........fedupandskint, your last 2 lines say it exactly as happens to us all, or me at least. It does feel weird at first, but then you spend far more wisely and save as though you're possessed!!!
As I say, I'm only speaking for myself!!! ......Ahhh bless them Dizzee, I love to hear little kiddie chatter, so naive and cute.
Keep up with your good addictions all, the enthusiasm on this thread is a joy to see. :j Any more new members are welcome to join us

sue-uu, yes please on the target.
I purposfully bought a terremundi my Oh wouldnt like so that she enjoyed smashing it all the more! then when she counts it she'll have that ''ooh whats this?'' moment followed by the lightbulb moment when she realises what it is all about!!Those who risk nothing, Do nothing, achieve nothing, become nothingMFW #63 £0/£5000 -
Thanks Sue....
I know the money I saved is handy, Although I have ended up using it towards a pram for baby No.3 due in March. Instead of Christmas which is what it was intended for...
I will try to pop in now and then and have put the challenge in my sig to remind me.
In fact it was the school Christmas fair this afternoon, so I will put ALL the left over change from that into the pot right now to start me off.
Good Luck All
