Sorry Sue, I promise not to do it again. I can't seal the demi-john otherwise I wouldn't be able to put anything else in it.

Am I forgiven? What about now?

    How about now? :rotfl:

Well I have finally got my act together with this challenge, I have my two pots, one for us and the one for the charity which we call the 'goat pot', as it might buy a goat for someone in a village somewhere through World Vision. Anyway, got pots, and they have now been lined with the first of the donations, about £2 in each so far, not mega exciting but a start never-the-less.

And I am going to have to adjust what I do. So far I save my £2 coins in my 'Cruise Pig' (I wish!!) and I put my coins in my 'Treat' pot (when its full, we take it to Sainsburys where they have a machine that counts it all up and produces a ticket that you can spend in store, so we use this for a complete treat, apple turnovers, smoked salmon etc etc) So now if I put silver in my sealed pots then it strikes me that I wont actually have any money to go out and about with each day!
To those who are given much, much is expected

        £2025 in 2025 = £680.60
          Food Budget £180/9.30.

            Hiya sams247,
Well done on the 2 pots, I like the idea of the goat pot, on the other hand, do you know that the machine in Sainsbury's takes a whopping 8% of your money :naughty: you'd be better bagging it up, cashing it in the bank and putting it onto a savings card, that way it's all yours and you're not giving a business your hard saved money. Right I'll get off my high horse now (just trying to help) :D
