Rules and guidelines:
1) Walk in the middle of the pavement.
2) Look at the pavement a decent distance ahead of you and move your eyes over the whole of the pavement in a radar style.
3) Check the road every now and then. That glint in the road can be a nice little bit of road kill. (but make sure you don't get knocked over picking it up!!!)
4) Check bus stops. Loads of roadkill here. School kids throw it at each other... lol
5) Supermarket car parks. Plenty to be had here.
6) I find McDonalds, KFC carparks are good hunting grounds.
7) Footie grounds (I work around 2 of them and they're great for change!)
I hope you've all taken notes.......... Professor Sparky will be asking questions later...... lol
Stunty!
Yep, this is exactly the way it works. Over the last 4 days I have picked up 27p in pennies:T It helps because I live close to a school, so use the route the kids do:D
Added a shiny £2 yesterday. I work in a shop and over the last 2 days there have been loads of £2 coins about. I leave them in the till and use the £1's first. Am tight with them lol:rotfl:Pad, started 28.11.08 running total £3674.91:T

Morning all
My, what a rowdy bunch ~ I love it! :rotfl:
£3.00 into sealed tin today, as its going to be small payments up til the end of the month now. Going to try stunty's masterclass in roadkill, though it's thick ice here right now, and any potential booty is likely to be stuck fast. Do you think people might notice if I bend down and melt the ice with a match??!! :rotfl:

Molly, I had all that done to my flat last year by my HA and yes they do make a mess:mad:. we got £50 towards redecorating, they did decorate the kitchen but it's awful and when I pointed this out to them they told me, "well its social housing what do you expect". Just hope they don't rip your kitchen out on a friday and leave you with no way of cooking etc for the weekend like they did with me. I know I shouldn't really moan about it, as it didn't come out of my pocket, but I did expect my home to have been treated with a bit more respect.
Sorry for going of topic.
I have been putting bits in my pot, not sure how much I haven't been counting it, I want it to be a suprise when I count it in Dec.
Stunty & sprkey, I have taken notes on the road kill lecture, and will put them in to practice next time i'm out and about, just hope your not expecting a 2000 word eassy about it:rotfl:
Shelley xBack on MSE again! to take control of my finances and not let it control me. :T May grocery challenge £41.96/1400
