    Hi,

Can I join in please I've got a sealed tin all ready to go. I've also got a large whisky jar which we usually drop our coppers into so the tin will be silvers I think, and maybe the odd £1!

    Hiya thrifty81,
If you stand in line, and wait for sue, (she's the boss) to come along sometime this evening, she will allocate you a number, then you'll be in the "gang", you'll find most of them mad on here, I'm not mad my psychiatrist said so lol :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: . Welcome to the best thread on MSE, it's very addictive

  • Spent a fiver buying Christmas cards, wrapping paper and crackers in the sale, that's a few less things to worry about come December and I'm going to put 2 pound coins in my pot as I'm feeling proud of myself.

  • Hi, can I join too. I already have a sealed tin that I started in November. It was for me to get a tattoo, but me thinks saving for xmas would be better.

My car had to go to the garage today, so I borrowed my daughters car for the morning. I went to her work to take her out for lunch.......and clunk my brain swung into action, (doesn't happen too often these days!).....I remembered that at Christmas whilst I was out with her I picked my coat up upside down and all my change came out onto the floor of the car, she said she would bring it in for me later because it was late at night. I forgot all about it till now. I just got back from lunch and before I went in the house I went on a search of the car.

    :rotfl:I found £6.79!:rotfl:

It is safely installed in my sealed tin :A ....which is getting a little heavier.

I like other people find that I do not have as much cash around to have change from. Todays remembrance was a welcome one. LOL!!!

I wish you all the best! Keep saving!
I don't get to come on here too often.
    Too buzy money saving!

  • Ooh, that's a good one, reb ~ well done! :D
