Evening all. A nice gold clunk went in my pot today (£1):j. Today was my first day back at uni after the christmas hols, I did not want to get up when my alarm went of at 6am:eek: , but I was glad to be back and feel more in learning mode again. At least the weather has warmed up now, it feelt almost tropical yesterday after the -5 the previous day.
I need to find away of sealing up the bottom of my terramundi pot, I had to open it last year in an emergancy, honest, even Stunty & sparky will confirm that.
A BIG welcome to all the new members:hello:

£1.67 in my pot today
I would have more if i didnt keep having to pay for the car park with my loose change.
My target does seem a long way off but 1 day at a time and any money saved is better than nothing.
My mum always tells me: look after the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves.
I am hoping that this means that all my 1p coins will turn into £1 coins over night - well i can hope.
Both my coins jars are looking fuller than they ever have looked, it is so tempting not to count it. But once you count it it has a value and you then think what you can spend it on, so i will resist temptation. I have given up keeping track of the amount too.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
:T fortune with those less fortunate :T
:T than themselves - you know who you are!:T0 -

Hi,
Can I join in please I've got a sealed tin all ready to go. I've also got a large whisky jar which we usually drop our coppers into so the tin will be silvers I think, and maybe the odd £1!0 -
I'm having issues with this challenge as I'm not really spending anything, so don't have any change in my purse. Haha I don't know whether overall this is good or bad! I usually pay for groceries by debit card but I think I'll start getting out cash and putting the change in the pot. That way I can only spend a certain amount in the shop too; it's all too easy to bung extra stuff in the basket when you know the money's in the bank.Sealed Pot Challenge - #5900
