well this is my first post on here since starting the challenge about three weeks ago.

i am doing well i have not kept count of the money in the tin but i think in at about 30 pounds.

however!! hubby decided he didnt want to be left out so he got a sealed tin too, he has only been pocketing the change from our one weekly night out and his total is now 100 quid!!!! he has raided the house for change and odd pound coins. we usually spend about 40 on a night out but we always take more just incase of emergency or if anything crops up, he said we only spent 35 the last three weeks so he pocketed the difference of the 60 taken and its in his tin never to be seen again!!!! lol
    self confessed 80's throwback:D

Welcome to the challenge thrifty81, sonas_baby, and Natti_A. Good to 'meet' you all. :D Enjoy yourselves with the challenge, it's very addictive and you'll soon find that out! You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on post 1 of page 1, read through posts 1 & 2 as it'll help you with queries.

Of course your new grandson is so obviously beautiful elsie52 and there is no such thing as a biased grand parent surely!!!;).....Uncle sparky's quite right young Jess - as with the weight, don't rush things with the BFs either! One day at a time and don't worry about what ex's do!
got 1.20p in road kill whilst sorting out a shop lifter. Fantastic! Lol

You have to admit that does sound a bit on the heavy-handed side with you being you Stunty!!!.....Your Mum's quite right princesswoo, take that saying on yourself and you'll find you'll be able to keep money in your pocket much easier and for longer!:D

That's as far as I got Monday night before ISP went off!!! Sorry a couple of you had to wait longer for your numbers.

Good thinking about the RCMP Kerfuffle, though maybe they'd have had the power to swing the axe!! Then again, maybe best not tempted to ask!!!:o Glad it isn't me alone with "Thanks" problems at times.....Forgiven this once PAindenial as we can't have you going without milk. ...ever thought of getting a cow?!!!:p....Fingers crossed with your mum Jordan!....Congratulations to you young Jess!!! :TThere's so much to be proud of there, you've done yourself proud, remember not to go too fast though!!:A.....You know what they say about if you can't beat em join em louiser123, time for that to apply to you now!!! ;)

Have a great Wednesday everyone, a better, sunnier day too IF the forecast is right!!

    Sue

Morning, found 20p on monday, then my little un found 50p in change scattered all over the floor yesterday all in my tin now (he's only 2 bless him, got him well trained:D ). I've just chucked about £4 odd in my tin today too, change from £20 my gran gave me yesterday for helping her out. I was gonna be good and stick the full £20 in but decided to treat us to lunch out and a few bargains instead.

  • quote=Kerfuffle;17649021]Hey there,

not much roadkill to be had in my area at the moment, I'm just waiting for the big thaw, I think it's due around March time, lol.

Likewise with any drinks cans and bottles that I find that I could cash in and get the deposits back on, they're all under 3 ft of snow as well so I'm relying on family members to leave money lying around.

    Toodles.[/quote]

:hello: Do you really get cash back for drink cans Wow I could be rich !!!

Well done,Jess. Please dont be upset if you dont lose so much next week

Just stick to your diet and it will come off. You are doing really well.

Just come back from the shops. Still no road kill Sparky and Stunty must have done the night shift round here:rotfl: :rotfl:

But I did get lots of change.

Have a lovely day everyone nice and sunny here.
