    Hi,

Didn't think we had anything to go into the pot today, then had the news that our 3rd grandchild had been born today....several weeks early. So popped out to buy a card, and the change went into the tin. Need to up the odds now, 3 to buy for next xmas. !!

i already collect copper in a jar and 5ps in a money box and usually pay them into bank when i have enough but i think i will get them changed and put them in pot this year. so far i have about £1.60 in 5ps ( need £5 to change )and about £1.20 in copper. i also have a pile of 10p and 20p which i havent counted and i won £10 on lotto last night :T so thats destined for the pot when i collect it. i also got my first roadkill today we were at our new allotment and i was clearing rubbish when i spotted a filthy 5p in soil i shouted woohoo 5p for the pot OH and DS just looked at me as though id gone mad :o think maybe i should be more discrete lol :rotfl:

    Hi Everyone

Thank you for my number, 543, never thought I would be grateful for being given a number but I really am, I feel very inspired, after thoroughly ransacking the armchairs, settee, coat pockets, old handbags, various kitchen drawers, bedside cabinet and other obscure places, I have a totally unbelievable 7 pounds in my pot.

I shall change this into pound coins tommorow, make each of my three grandchildren a pig, fill them up with silver and give them to them next Christmas. No more wondering what to get the little dears that they havent already got.

Anyone know where I can get instructions for making little pigs please
