  • Anyone know how much a terramundi pot holds when full (pref £1 and/or £2 coins)?

    Thanks! S x

I'd like to know the answer to that, too! I know it holds up to £200 in mixed silver, but I'm guessing £4-500 in £1 & £2 coins - or am I just hopeful??:o:D

Yay! Got my number - 541! I've put £4 in the terramundi today - a £2 coin nicked off DH (he won't empty his pockets so easily next time!) and another £2 coin donated from my mum, who collects them until she's got £20 then banks them - she had a spare one so kindly donated to my pot!

Back to work tomorrow :( so won't be spending any money - always take a packed lunch and try not to buy anything as a rule. But will ask DH to contribute if he goes shopping!

I'll be looking out for roadkill, tho ... this could become very addictive!

Doh...been a very slow weekend for my sealed jar. Although on the plus side the reason for that is that I havent spent any cash and just had a quiet weekend at home due to a cold I have! :( Hopefully there will be some more coins coming my way next week...

Hope everyone has had a good weekend! :)

    Hi,
I'd like to join in please. We're currently TTC baby no. 2 so if he/she comes along before Christmas we'll definately need some extra dosh since I'm not working anymore!

I've just looked online for the terramundi pots and they seem rather expensive, does anyone know where I can pick one up cheaper? I know I don't need one for this challenge but I can see both me and DH sticking to it better if it's a pretty pot that we don't want to smash rather than just an old coffee tub etc.!

Anyway, looking forward to joining you all in this challenge!!!

Has been a nsd today, did find 1p roadkill on my walk this afternoon so that has gone in. Ds has just paid me £6.00 he owed, he's given me 2 x £2 coins and 50p's . So I have out the £2 coins in:D
