  • Hi everyone!

Nothing to go in the pot today!! Gutted! OH still has only contributed 1p to the pot! Generous isn’t he:rolleyes: ?!

Hopefully will find something to go in tomorrow, but not holding out much hope as back to work and don’t spend when I’m there.

  • Hey All,

Hows it going, been off with Grandma this weekend for her birthday which has succeded in making me feel old (at 26 lol) and her feeling ancient (at 73) we spent way too much time talking about the way things should be and what was wrong with the youth of today lol.

Have bought myself a nice new shiney chest of drawers (out of my wages of all things, not even a hint of a credit card purchase now :) ) but went for a more expensive version hoping it will last me longer, meaning i need to get moving with the sealed pot to give me some extra cash at the end of the year or i wont be able to resist the plastic :)

Heres to a changefull week for all of us

    Puzzled xx

Nope - I spent about 4 hours emptying mine out last year - with the help of a knife. Surprised I didn't end up with an injury the amount of times I got hit in the face when a coin escaped!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I emptied my terramundi (which only had £1 & £2 in September once, and then started filling it up again) I also had a big tub of all other coins which I counted at the end of the challenge.

To top up my potties I did a lot of mystery shops at sandwich shops. You have to spend about £5, so I always paid with £10 and put the change into the pottie. HTH:D

OOOH! Almost forgot. I also 'check' OH's pantaloons for large gold coins every night.:o:o:o
