Yay! I'm glad there's a thread for next year already!! I was naughty and broke into my pot with tweezers to pay a bill :o !

This time I think I'll aim for £200 - anything over will be a bonus!!

By the way what coins did people save to get over £1000?! I'm sooo impressed! I would have loved to have emptied my pot to count out that much!!

I wouldnt! would have taken me bloody ages:D

to get £1000 your looking at about £3 a day so i would guess it is a case of never carrying cash and every last scrap of change goes in the pot.

You're welcome Jordan. Thanks a lot for letting me know so quickly, I've added it to your number/name. I'm willing you to succeed, so X <-- fingers crossed! ;) I hope you're right about your mum, it would certainly benefit her! :D

Well done with that tin kyllle, let's hope you fill it! reventon and Diana Prince, your targets have been added so all the best with all you hope for. I'm sorely tempted with a beautiful terramundi, but at £14.....!  We'll see.

Hi gettingbetter, kas, that's a wonderful start! All best wishes to your mum please and please give her my congratulations on her amazing amount saved. The race'll be on between you two this next year!!! :T

I was only (sort of ) joking when I put it on the list, I think it's great when families get involved, sharing things is what families are all about. If your dad works at Asda make sure he doesn't ...excuse me for this ....pocket the difference. :o After seeing Surfbabe's ziggie I have to push myself to do one, she's so good at it, Nykmedia too. Good luck with your niece, what an experience for one so young, bless her. :)

You're both quite right kas, I love it here, so much to learn too.

Hi chunkytfg, didn't notice you, but glad you popped on again so soon. Good to see you. When you reach your first £1000 you'll need a hand counting it then - right? :D
