I did have to use some change to give to my housemate for rent - but i didnt get more cash out of the bank so that has to be a good thing!!

Hi, please may I join? I have been following the previous thread for a few months, I already have a piggy which is half full but I don't want to open it until it's full, I have been saving since August. I hope that's not cheating!:D I want to keep it as I am doing the pay off 20k challenge and I don't think I will have much spare change next year, but I will try. Thanks.

Think the Christmas Spirit must be getting to me already :rotfl:. All ready made a deposit in the jar - purse is looking very empty now.

Keep thinking about signing up for the no speading days - but then would have no change to put in my jar. Tough decision .

Number 344 checking in, pots at the ready. The 2€ coins are going in one pot to be used for special purchases and the rest of the shrapnel into another.

No idea on what I'll save as I very rarely use cash - cash just seems to disappear from my purse with nothing to show :eek:. Tomorrows job is to search the car for any coins dropped there.

No. 356 here - Challenge started today in an old ice cream tub sealed with a slit cut in the lid! Just a few pennies today, with more change again at the weekend as on 2 NSD until Fri and all change is now in pots!
