Hi all No 351 joining in here. Have put the contents of my purse in my tin tonight so started already. Payday today so that was the end of last months money.
Good luck to all for 2008/9. some pretty fantastic totals coming out yesterday.0 -
Can I join?
I need to empty the contents of our change tin which will count for this year but I'm up for it. I missed this last year due to focusing on wrestling control of the finances but now they are under control (just!) some positive challenges would be good.
Tin will be ready by the end of the week and I'd aim to have £200 in it by the end of the year to buy something lovely for the house!

Hi all
I think I might join this year. I have a piggy (courtesy of pigsback) for 10p coins and I will put 5p, 2p and 1p coins in a round box that a cup came in which I have cut a hole in the top of and sealed up. I shall have to use willpower to seal the piggy as I don't want to put tape on him.
I am making OH a papier mache piggy and although he isn't on the boards I will let you know how much he accumulates too.
Right - off to get my purse and feed the piggy/box£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)

Oh a nice new thread at last! I think I'll set my target at £300, but I've got a bit of a head start using my half full terramundi from last year - will pop it open once it's full! Good luck to all the newbies this year! xChipping away at the mortgage...2013:£419k @ 3.14%

I'm in!!!
I always save my shrapnel and bank the money but it disappears.
I'm going to aim for £300.
Don't know what I'll spend it on yet - maybe I'll put it towards a holiday.
Off to get myself a suitable container!

#364 here!
no target for this challenge just as much as i can towards my overall 2009 target.
only 1p's, 2p's, 5p's & 10p's going into this pot...there's always plenty of small change lying round and it all adds up!
good luck everyone0 -

Can I set my target as £500? Ambitious, but I usually empty my purse of anything under £1 at the end of every day, so hopefully I'll meet this.
Hope those sealed pots are filled for everyone by this time next year!PAYDBX14 #060 £677/£15500 (4.37%) 6/18 NSD Make £10 a day £179/£155 £2 Savers Club #57 50p Savers Club #24 20p Savers Club #29 7/22 AFD Sealed Pot Challenge #290 Weight loss 2/54lbs 13/21.5 hours Team Dragon!
