I only save coins smaller than a 10p, but some people save £2 coins.

It's totally up to you what you save, but I personally feel I'd struggle (financially for bills) if I were to save larger coins

Everyone ( I think) does things a little differently but personally I throw in all £1, 50p, 20p and 10p coins. I have a seperate jar for 1p, 2p and 5p coins that I bag up every few months and take to the bank, the resulting notes will then be fed into my sealed pot. £2 coins go in yet another sealed pot for another challenge!

Oh, and I'm also keeping all 'roadkill' money (coins that have been dropped by others) in yet another pot so I can see how much can be gathered that way over the course of a year. The total will be added in with my sealed pot at the end of the challenge.

Warning - it gets addictive ;)

I have two... one is for 1p, 2p, 5p, 10p and 20p - the other is for 50p, £1 and £2. I also have a tub to save £5 a week, so this could get a bit confusing  My idea is that any £2 and £1 go in the £5 a week tub first.
